Comment : I was driving down Paluxy Drive this afternoon, enjoying a milkshake from Andy's, when I saw the car beside me rising on a completely blown-out tire. The rubber was shredded and strands of tire and metal belting were slinging everywhere. The driver hadn't realized it yet, so I flagged her down and got her to pull safely into the Zippy J's lot right down the street from Engines Express.
I'm a car guy and was confident I could help… boy, was I wrong. She had no jack, no way to get the lug nuts off, and no roadside assistance (she called her insurance to confirm).
I called Engines Express next door. You could tell they were slammed — all the usual busy-shop noises in the background — but the lady who answered transferred me to Randy anyway. Randy asked a few quick questions and showed up almost immediately in a golf cart. In what had to be record time (literally maybe 2 minutes?), he had the spare tire on and the young lady safely back on her way. Then he refused to take any payment at all.
Not all heroes wear capes… but at least one drives a golf cart!
Randy went way above and beyond. If you're in Tyler and need honest, fast, caring automotive help, this is the place. Thank you, Randy!
(Parents — make sure your kiddos have roadside assistance and basic tools in the car. You never know when they'll need them!)

Comment : They did a tune on my 2013 Camaro 2SS after I installed long tube headers. I called around looking for a shop to do this, and Engines Express answered rite back and we scheduled a drop off. They keep me updated on the process since it takes several days to do this type of tune. The car is running great with no issues. At a fair price.I will use Engines Express for all my auto repair from now on.

Comment : I was driving through East Texas on a Friday afternoon when my Durango began to overheat. I live in the Dallas metropolitan area and did not know of any auto repair shops in the Tyler area.
I found reviews on Yelp for Engines Express and they were all very good. I called the shop and they were very knowledgeable and professional and I felt comfortable with them. I managed to get my vehicle to them just before they closed for the weekend.
They called me early in the day on Monday after troubleshooting and gave me their findings. We agree to a course of action. They ordered the parts and completed the repairs Tuesday morning.
I am very pleased with Engines Express. If you are looking for an automotive repair service in East Texas, I highly recommend Engines Express.
