Comment : I'd love to say I had a great experience with this company. I even contemplated posting a review, but I felt I needed to warn others.We took my car to be evaluated for a transmission repair, and the service we received was for everything but that. We received a $2,000 dollar quote for everything else wrong with my car: tires, motor mounts, etc. They even decided to roll down the back windows of my car, to check them... Mind you the don't go back up easily. After that atrocious quote and pointless information, they proceeded to tell us they had yet to even check the actual transmission. Needless to say, we went and picked up our car to take to someone who isn't trying to nitpick and get every dime possible from us. If you want an honest, straightforward mechanic and transmission specialist, GO TO AATCO.I'd love to say I had a great experience with this company. Comment : My family and I were traveling from CT to the Charleston, SC area for vacation and to see friends. While stopping for gas in Florence, SC, our car broke down and we needed to be towed to a mechanic. After calling a few local places I got in touch with the great folks at Dun-Rite and the experience just got better and better from there. In just 4 hours they brought a tow truck to pick up my Subaru Outback, diagnose the issue as a broken front axel, source the part, and make the repair all while offering a pleasant and fun customer service experience. I know the timing all lined up luckily for me and that kind of service may not happen in just 4 hours next time, but their efforts to make it all happen fast sped up the process and they made sure it all worked out. You can tell it's a fun place to work and everyone has a good attitude.
