Comment : My parents started using Du Fresne's in 2006 when they moved to the Portland area. When my husband and I moved to this area in 2014, we continued to use them for all our automotive issues.
Du Fresne's has always done excellent work at reasonable prices. They are honest and dependable. We trust their
Work and professional opinions. They also have loaner cars if their work will take a while.
Last week, I brought a Honda CRV to them for inspection before purchasing it. The car passed inspection fine with some reasonable work suggested:
Oil change, tire rotation, etc ... We had those done too.
My parents, my husband and I, and our kids, all have had excellent service from Du Fresne's for almost 20 years.

Comment : I can't say enough good things about DuFresne's - their service, their hospitality, their speedy replies, their excellence from top to bottom. Finding a mechanic you can trust is HARD. I was grateful to find DuFresne's via Google (and after a messy engine meltdown on the freeway). Without me asking, they went the extra mile and even cleaned up the oil that had sprayed all over the engine compartment because of MY mistake. Don't hesitate to book an appt. with confidence.

Comment : Amazing service - this is my second time I've brought my car here. I feel completely at ease when I talk to the staff, they know their stuff, and they are just overall so kind. I don't feel like Du Fresne's is a place that would ever try to upsell me on services that i don't need.

I dropped my car off in morning, and it was done by the afternoon! They checked out my brakes for free, found where my leak was coming from, and even checked to see if a weird clicking sound from my AC was affecting my car.

I will always recommend this shop to friends and family.

I took car to Du Fresne's back in August for a serpentine belt repair that was urgent. They were able to get me in right away before a long road trip and also diagnosed another issue that was occurring with a transmission fluid leak. I got the belt replaced but didn’t address the fluid issue at the time.

A few months later, my transmission was not shifting correctly and it was indeed a fluid leak. I was able to book online right away, took it to the shop and they took care of the problem! They are always so kind, and really do such a stellar job. This is my go to shop always!

Comment : Everyone who works at Dufresne is honest and helpful. We have been in many times this year with my 16 year olds “new” truck (30 year old truck). They have helped get it in the best and safest condition and are so kind talking my son through what needs to be done. Highly recommend!
