However, when I picked up the car, I saw a price sheet (attached) listing the transmission fluid change at $139. Since I have an Odyssey Touring with the 10-speed transmission, the 9-speed and CVT prices don’t apply. The service advisor told me that the $139 did not include the cost of the transmission fluid, which he said was very expensive. He also implied I should be happy that the total was “only” $280, suggesting it could have been more. When I pointed out that it had been significantly less in the past, he responded that it must have been a one-time deal and couldn’t be matched.

The entire experience felt like a series of excuses, and frankly, I left feeling scammed. Pricing a transmission fluid change without including the actual fluid is misleading. My family has purchased eight vehicles from Dover Honda over the years, and we've relied on your service department many times. I believed Dover Honda was more trustworthy and helpful than my local dealer.

This appointment left me questioning that belief.

I emailed the Service Manager (Michael Segien) about my experience but received radio silence after 9 days. In my opinion, I'd stay away from this place if possible.'>
