Comment : Poor workmanship and cost me more money

Had my transmission replaced here, but the installation was not done correctly. The transmission was shifting hard, clunking when going from Reverse to Drive, and leaking fluid. I took it to another shop, where they found an improperly secured transmission mount and a leaking transmission line connection.

I ended up paying another shop to correct the installation, repair the leak, and properly refill the transmission. A major repair like this should be done correctly the first time. Unfortunately, this ended up costing me considerably more out of pocket.

Comment : I had a 2011 f150 transmission rebuilt here last year. When I picked it up and took off home it grinned from 3rd to 4th gear. They said it was do to fresh rebuild. The transmission never stopped and eventually went out again 11 months later. I wouldn't take it back to this place. I'll take the loss. Please go elsewhere

Comment : The transmission on my 2017 GMC 2500HD, 6.0 gasoline engine, failed at 55,000 miles. A friend recommended Do It Right Transmission, who did a rebuild on my unit along with an upgrade on the torque converter that will prevent recurrence. They did a great job on the rebuild and honored their initial quote.. Kevin Sensmeier (owner) and Ray Holden (service manager) do a great job of communicating during the repair and instill a great deal of confidence in their work. Highly recommend.
