Macklin recommended that I take my Mercedes Benz to Dicky Smalls, because she had experienced such thorough and professional service. I called and was informed to bring my car Sunday night and they would check it Monday. After not hearing from them by Noon on Monday, I called and was informed they were 'about' to call me. When I asked the status, they said they thought prior repairs had caused the problem, but said they needed to diagnose it further. I asked to be called when the diagnosis was complete. I heard nothing further on Monday. Tuesday morning, I called for the diagnosis results and was informed, it had not been done yet. Irate, I asked when it would be completed, they stated it would cost $300 for the diagnosis. I said ok. I heard nothing further on Tuesday. Wednesday morning, I called and was informed the diagnosis was still not done. I stated that I was coming to pick up my car. I did and have not heard back from them. It's true that everyone doesn't have the same experience, with the same shop; however, it seems very peculiar, to see so many great reviews, to have had such a bad experience.A very good friend, E.
