Comment : Complaint Against Desmond Auto SaleI purchased a used car for $10,000 cash from Desmond Auto Sale, with the owner, Mike, assuring me that the car was in great condition and had passed inspection. However, just 3 to 4 months later, the car started experiencing significant issues. I brought it back to their shop, and Mike initially quoted a lot more for the repairs but charged $2,000 for repairs (after reducing the price). Now, he claims the entire motor needs to be replaced, and even with that, he cannot guarantee the car will be fine. The total cost, including labor, would be around $7,000.I am shocked and feel completely deceived. The car is still at their shop waiting to be repaired, but I no longer trust Mike or his business. He initially came across as trustworthy, but this experience has proven otherwise. I simply don???t have the funds for such expensive repairs, especially after just purchasing the car. Mike even suggested I consider buying another car with fewer miles from them, which feels like another attempt to take advantage of the situation.This is completely unacceptable. I feel ripped off and devastated by this entire ordeal. Comment : So they gave me a good price on tires that was fair and I went for it. However after getting on the highway the front of the car was shaking, upon inspection I found the lugs nuts on one wheel were finger tight! This could of killed us! In addition to they told us our brakes were shot "they don't want to see us get in an accident". I said no way I just did those brakes a few months ago.... well there shot your like metal on metal. I brought car home and upon inspection all pads were 50% or more when comparing to new pads! They were trying to screw us and get more money out of us! I wonder how many people they have done this too! Don't have them do anything until you get a second opinion! Hard to find honest mechanics these days guess il have to do it myself!
