Comment : About a year and a half ago I had transmission problems with my expedition. Mike's Dependable Automotive was suggested by multiple community figureheads. They assisted me with my repairs and offered suggestions on how to have it completed right and at the lowest cost to me. I've been impressed with their service and quality, not only with that experience but with multiple other vehicles I have taken there since my initial impression. They have always been friendly, helpful, and thorough. This is an especially pleasant experience since they also have historically had the lowest prices. I believe they are truly there to help the customer. No one is perfect, but they definitely get five stars from me because of my experiences with them and because they have always made attempts at resolution and improvement with any matter that has been brought to their attention. They have deservingly earned my business and my recommendation should anyone ask! I do not believe you will be disappointed!

Comment : Very nice people attentive to my issues which was an A/C problem. Turned out to be a compressor which was replaced along with 4 new tires. The car is running great and blowing cold air

Comment : They replaced my alternator and told me the belt needed to be replaced as well... I wasn't prepared for the cost of replacing the belt too because it would have doubled the price. Got the car back and immediately realized they broke the door handle... I let it go because it was already weak and they probably man handled it and thought it was already broken, my fault I didn't tell them you had to be gentle with it. 3 days later the belt popped and another mechanic has informed me there was a bolt and shim missing and a bent bracket... He said it looked as if it had been sabotaged. I don't know much about cars but that's not the way to get repeat business.

Comment : Worst experience I ever had with an auto repair shop. Certainly not dependable... dropped my car off to have the AC checked, then received a call its going to cost around 650, I said go ahead, then received another call a couple hours later it's gonna cost another 200 to fix, then another couple later, yet another call its gonna cost another 450 to fix. I told them I need my car so I paid 850 which they said I owed for the first 2 stuff they did and still don't have my ac fixed. The guy said he'll call me a couple days later with and wont charge labor for the additional part that needs changing. I'm yet to receive that call a week later...

Comment : Had brakes done and hub replaced because it was damaged by previous shop in Slidell when I had tires rotated last year. I'm new to the area and a neighbor recommended Mike's. I am happy to have a local mechanic now! The work was reasonably priced and they seemed to genuinely care. I highly recommend!

Comment : Will always come hear. Mike is one of the most and fair mechanic. This is the best mechanic shop with in at the very least 100 miles. The price the quality and the service is exceptional. Everyone there is awesome!

Comment : I brought my van there to be fixed.They were so honest and said after checking it out more it could not be fixed.They polite not rude at all .So glad they told truth and not just take my money Thanks

Comment : They are by far the absolute best people you can ever meet. Very knowledgeable and people of faith. When I went there Mike and I talked for hour completely forgot about the car. We had an amazing conversation.
