Comment : We were scheduled for a full inspection for our insurance company and they didn't even bother taking it in. Vibrations from under the car, etcetera and they just dismissed it as no big deal without taking a look in any capacity.

Comment : I went in per the recommendation of the auto insurance following a fender. I signed documents that included ?all work on the vehicle must be approved by me before hand?. After I sign documents, I went on a walk through that only focused on the damaged area. The male rep told me that the estimated price would be roughly $1000, and I can take the car back to settle with the insurance or they can open it to check for more damage. He then stated ?if they open the car, they must complete work on it?. I reminded him of the documents I signed and asked him to complete his assessment and get back to me for a true understanding of the damages. The rep sent the details directly to the insurance hiking up the damage to $3,900 which made it a total loss. I now have no car and this hack of a place refused to send me the official estimate despite the insurance company telling me they should and I am entitled to that information. The lady receptionist was nice though.

Comment : I want to be honest about my experience. My car was dropped off on September 25th and wasn?t ready until October 18th; nearly three and a half weeks. That amount of time felt excessive, especially since the paperwork I received listed only 24 hours of labor. It really shouldn?t have taken that long, and it came across as a bit shady.

The biggest issue, though, was the complete lack of communication. We never once received a call with an update. Every time we called to check in, we were told, ?We?ll get the information and call you back,? but no one ever did. On October 10th, I called to confirm whether the car would be ready by October 13th, since the online tracker showed that as the estimated completion date. That?s when I was told, ?We got busy and meant to call you,? because they needed information about the windshield for the insurance. I found that very unprofessional. If something was delaying the work, someone should have reached out right away.

The only call I ever received from the shop was on October 18th to say the car was ready for pickup.

As for the repair itself, the quality wasn?t great. A piece of the car flipped up shortly after pickup, and my vent was broken. Thankfully, someone at the shop was kind enough to fix it on the spot when I pointed it out, but it still shouldn?t have left the shop that way.

Overall, the repair got done, but the time, lack of communication, and attention to detail were very disappointing. There?s definitely room for improvement in professionalism and customer care.

Comment : Took my car the first time & had great service, Wayne was great as well. Came in a second time as there were some follow up issues, that they handled swiftly, free of charge, and professionally. It truly was hassle free and I appreciate their efforts & work. If I have issues again, I?d definitely return here. The body work was great & they made sure it was clean.

Comment : Horrible service! It took close to two weeks for my car to get fixed. (Which is fine - but you would think it would be totally done) I got my car and left. They forgot to fix near the back of the wheel. They left a cup with the screws in my car and I had put two and two together once I had found out what was the issue. I am a woman that does not know much about cars but I got so mad that they carelessly forgot to fix my car!

I went back to them, they had to order another part and said we will call you. As I?m driving off the lot I hear a noise. I didn?t pay no mind because I?m driving slow, but as soon as i?m driving down the street I hear it loud and clear. I drove right back and come to find out I had a screw in my wheel! They took it out but I should have got a new wheel since I had brand new wheels for a whole month! They didn?t want to take care of it and used a plug which I still think it?s a temporary fix.

I called the repair rep EJ and told him about everything! He did not contact me back about the wheel and I called the shop numerous times about this bracket that they had to order! Mind you, when they said they will contact me- they didn?t even ask for my number or anything but they got to know me because I kept on calling them everyday. Lying saying it?s going to come in tomorrow. Days later I finally got the bracket behind my wheel done and drove off because I do not to deal with them anymore! If you ever decide to go here- make sure you have someone that knows cars so they can check before you leave off the lot!

Comment : I had an excellent experience with Crash Champions of West Haven after a minor fender bender. My insurance company recommended them, and I?m glad they did! Wayne, Nancy, and David were all fantastic?professional, friendly, and kept me updated throughout the process. The repair was finished a full week earlier than the original estimated date, which was a great surprise. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this team!
