Comment : My wiper fluid tank still has a leak, my passenger side steering assembly still makes noises, my driver side front window still makes noises/isn't properly aligned, and components of my front bumper still come loose. I brought it back in 3 times and they didn't fix it. They mostly gaslighted me and acted like there wasn't an issue. I'll never go back to Crash Chumpions again. My car will never be the same.

Comment : I had a very frustrating experience with this body shop after Allstate referred me there following an accident that was not my fault.

The accident damage was on the front passenger side of my truck, including the front quarter panel, door, and bumper. When I dropped the truck off, I clearly pointed out separate, older damage near the rear passenger taillight and explained that it was unrelated to the accident. The shop acknowledged that at the time.

A few days later, someone from the shop called and suggested that a dent in the accident area might have existed before the collision because there was some rust on the exposed metal. I explained that the dent was absolutely caused by the accident and that I could prove it was not there previously. The truck had been sitting for about a month after the accident during a period of frequent rain, which reasonably explained the light surface rust.

The following day, I received a text saying that my vehicle was being repaired. However, when I called the shop for clarification, I was suddenly told that the claim had been rejected as preexisting damage and that they would not repair the truck.

When I went to pick it up, the explanation changed. I was then told that the issue involved the old damage near the rear of the vehicle—even though the accident damage was at the front and I had specifically disclosed the unrelated rear damage when the truck was dropped off.

I was forced to remove my truck immediately and spent approximately two hours making calls, arranging transportation, and finding another repair facility. This caused unnecessary stress, lost time, and additional expense.

The second body shop looked at the disputed area and immediately said the rust appeared recent and was consistent with exposed metal after the accident. Allstate was ultimately helpful and allowed me to move the vehicle to another shop, so my complaint is specifically about how this repair facility handled the situation.

The shop’s assessment was inaccurate, its explanations were inconsistent, and its communication was poor. Based on my experience, I would not trust this facility to handle an insurance repair fairly or professionally.

Comment : Let me just say Clay at Crash Champions Richmond is a stand-up guy! I met him about three years ago when he fixed my Ford F150. We all know that the experience with the body shop is not always so pleasant, but in fact, he made mine pleasurable and he was very professional. Actually felt like I gained a friend. The reason I say that is because my 87-year-old mother lives with me. I go out of town often and there has been two instances where I had to call somebody to see if they would intervene and help. Both times Clay stepped in and helped my mother with her small issues at no charge. I would recommend this place for anybody looking for stellar customer service. Ask for Clay, Tell them Brian sent you.

Comment : I took my car to this shop about a month ago, and they did a terrible job. They left parts missing, like the door they were supposed to fix. They left the window loose, so it wouldn't go up and was letting in air and water.
The windshield is coming loose, and the bottom of the car is missing screws and other parts.

They ordered some parts, but they haven't called me to say if they've received them.

Don't go to this shop if you don't want to suffer from terrible service, poor quality workmanship, and shoddy work.
