Comment : I am a returning customer. They have never steered me wrong. This time was a noise under the hood which I thought was the alternator and it was. They also found another part worn so I had that fixed as well. I then had them do some other work to help me down the road. I'm very satisfied with everything they have done so far. I'll keep going to them as needed. I strongly suggest Cousins Automotive to anyone who wants things done in a timely manner and enjoys quality work with quality parts. Comment : BEWARE!! They use high pressure tactics to make you fearful to drive your car in order to pressure you to use their financing for repairs.I took my car to Cousins for an oil change, tire rotation and alignment. My car had been inspected a month prior and passed, but they noticed a few issues.They pushed how dangerous the car is to drive and urged how I needed immediate repairs. Told me an outrageous price to repair my car, which was well over 7K, and offered me a financing plan if I couldn t afford to pay If I was naive or vulnerable, I would have believed them and felt they were my only option. Their videos are a nice feature and I m sure they know how to repair your automobile. I personally did not feel comforted by the high pressure and found their financing to be a I took my car to my trusted mechanic, Sean over at White Street Auto in Haverhill, for a second look. Yes, there are issues, but nothing dangerous or life threatening. My car is safe to drive, even on the highway, and all of the repairs can be fixed over time. Nothing needs immediate repairs. The estimate for the repairs was well UNDER 4K.To sum up my experience, I feel that Cousins is extremely overpriced and uses tactics to make you feel pressured into making a sale. Perhaps their costs are the standard to the area of Ipswich. Unfortunately, if you are a person with a small budget, I could see how their financing would benefit you. JUST BE CAUTIOUS YOU ARE NOT BEING OVER CHARGED.If you are able to, go to White St. Auto in Haverhill. You will not need to finance or take out a personal loan. Highly suggest if you take your car to Cousins and only have them as an option, try your best to have a second mechanic give you another estimate.
