Comment : Had a job interview here. I was completely lost and had no idea where to go. I asked an elder gentleman if he worked there. He asked what I needed help with. I told him. He told me to park my truck and he took me right where I needed to go. The staff was very friendly. Lots of nice vehicles on there lot. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new vehicle or a job. Seems like a great place to work.

Comment : I’ve bought several new vehicles but this was the first time I built and ordered a new vehicle. I am happy with the process and with the salesperson that helped me thru the process. Only thing I’m not happy with was I parked the truck after bringing it home and when I got up the next morning it was covered with snow!!!! lol!! Thank you Coughlin Ford for the painless experience.

Comment : My husband purchased a Ford F-150 Super Duty from Coughlin Ford in Pataskala, OH and had it shipped to New Jersey, where we live. The entire purchase was done over the phone, and once the sale was completed, the communication went downhill fast.

After waiting several weeks for our out-of-state title and registration paperwork, the only calls we received from them were asking us to leave positive reviews — not to update us on anything we actually needed. When my husband’s temporary plate finally expired, we contacted them, and suddenly they claimed the paperwork had been sent via UPS overnight. We were never notified that anything was being shipped, there was no signature required on important title documents, and we had nothing to track or look out for. Completely unacceptable.

When we called and emailed for help, all they did was forward us a generic PDF on how to re-title a vehicle. No apology, no explanation, no effort to fix the situation. Just zero interest in helping once they already had our money.

It’s obvious they did not send the paperwork when they said they did — their only priority was getting a good review out of us. We held off reviewing until we could properly register the vehicle, and in hindsight, we should have listened to the many negative reviews already out there.

I never spoke to Dennis Adam at any point before or during the transaction — his name only appeared after everything went wrong. Suddenly he was “involved,” but all he did was fire off emails with generic PDFs about how to get a copy of the title.

Bottom line: Buyer beware.
If you don’t leave them a glowing review, good luck getting the paperwork you need. They essentially hold you hostage. Never again.

Comment : Beware!
My daughter took her Bronco sport in for broken water pump. Dealer said in addition, we need new pads and new rotors at 34k miles. I questioned how this could be needed on both back and front- they assured me it wasn’t out of the ordinary. I declined to get the brakes/rotors done there, as I didn’t believe it. When we picked up the vehicle- we were informed there was a mistake by the “new” tech and the rotors and brakes are fine and do not need replaced I called and spoke to 3 different people in service prior to them changing their mind, in addition to the vehicle inspection report that detailed 5-6 critical items and a measurement of less than 3mm “critical”brake/rotors. Total was $2800+ all over email. After further inspection from another mechanic, all made up- wrong measurements.
Dishonest and bad business for our community. They have since called us to bring the vehicle back to get pictures of the warrentee work so they can submit to Ford. Completely incompetent, dishonest, and will rob you blind. Beware!
