Comment : Although it appears that the problem was resolved about a month after our second visit, we had a re-currence of the issue less than 2 days after being initially cleared after repair. This required an additional tow and additional logistics to sort through that were difficult to manage (time off, rental, etc). It appeared that the second repair (replacement of wiring collar) was the actual source of both failures for the car to operate and the first issue that was repaired (plugs and fluid flush) did not solve the issue since additional repair was needed. Perhaps this isn't the case, but it didn't inspire confidence to have 2 major (over $1k each) repairs in less than a month. We're not the most mechanically inclined, but with the erosion described and was evident on the wiring collar, it is our opinion that the first diagnostic check should have found this as an issue and the wiring collar and the plugs/fluid flush would have been completed simultaneously/in the same visit. They provided a video of the diagnostic, but not a conversation, and comments were unclear in the video and on the phone/in person. I am not sure we'll be back. We would HIGHLY prefer a shop that has more amenable amenities like a loaner available for use. At the end of the day, maybe I'm too harsh because FORD could mean Found On Roadside Dead, after all. Go to them if you'd like, but we're not 100% certain in our choice here.
