Comment : I hate to write this, because for years this Conrad’s was my go-to. They were always honest, timely, and truly outstanding. But something has changed in the last 8–12 months, and it’s been nothing but frustration.

Twice now I’ve booked appointments online, brought my car in at the scheduled time, only to be told they couldn’t fit me in. Apparently, the system allows customers to book even when the shop is already full. Instead of calling to let me know, they left me wasting time and waiting days for service.

I decided to give them one last chance this week. I ordered tires through Goodyear and scheduled service here 48 hours in advance. When I arrived, they had no record of my appointment—because no one had checked the system for online orders. Once again, I was delayed. Dropped my car off Thursday morning, told it would be serviced Friday morning. Friday came and went with no call, no update. By Saturday, I had to call three times just to get a status update before traveling out of state. No answer until late in the day.

This used to be a reliable shop, but the disorganization has become unbearable. After years of loyalty, I’m done. Next time, I’d rather push my car to Rocky River—or even Strongsville—before I bring it back here.

Comment : Made an appt for last Saturday - they called about an hour before my appt to tell me that if I dropped off the car, they couldn't promise it back until Monday or Tuesday. All it needed was two front tires and brake pads. Cancelled that appt since I need my car to get to work; rescheduled for this Saturday and even dropped it off Friday evening with them. Staff on Friday told me that they would definitely have it done on Saturday. Didn't get a call until Saturday afternoon that they didn't have my tire size. Just really disappointed in the lack of preparation(?) for these appointments? No reason my car needs to be held 3 days for a few tires and brake pads. And to not check for stock of my tire size, even though my car/tire type was listed from the first appointment, let alone the second, just seems really careless. I picked up my car after the second cancelled appointment, and they handed me an estimate for almost $1200.

Comment : Unfortunately on a trip up to Cleveland I lost not one, but two tires on the highway. Stressed about getting home in time for work on Monday, I had the car towed to Conrad’s in the middle of the night. The next day, even though the shop was obviously swamped, Adam helped me out. He went out of his way to find a solution that would get me back on the road before the end of the weekend! It was great to have such incredible customer service during such a stressful moment for me!

Used to think Conrad’s was a great local chain to bring your car, but after my last experience I’d warn you to stay away.

I brought my car in for a FREE INSPECTION (something they say on their endless stream of ads) for some very minor issues on my car and was instantly quoited at $150 just for an inspection, this was after I booked a “FREE WALK THROUGH” online. When I told the guy at the front desk I thought the inspection was free he said “we have to pay our engineers somehow” very smugly. I was very confused at the attitude and charge so I declined the what was supposed to be free inspection and asked them to take a look at my LEFT FRONT TIRE (which had been leaking air).

They called me later in the day to let me know that the tire had a bubble in it and it would need to be replaced. So I approved the replacement and went to pick it up later that day. At first everything seemed fine, but within 2 days I started noticing that the same tire was going flat again in the same way fine on regular roads but losing 1-2 PSI a minute on the freeway effectively going flat in 30 mins of freeway driving. That’s when I noticed that my left front tire hadn’t been replaced. They replaced my RIGHT FRONT TIRE which was not the tire I told them I was having trouble with.

At first they were apologetic and told me that they made a mistake and that they would replace the tire or reimburse me for a replacement up to the tires price at another shop. But when I went to the Conrad’s to have the tire swapped out they re-tested my tire and told me there was nothing wrong with it and didn’t want to replace a tire that didn’t need to be replaced. Idk why I let them gaslight me into thinking the tire was fine, but within another day I was on a road trip and my tire was going flat again. I called them AGAIN to tell them about the problem and they agreed to replace the tire (something they should have already done). So when I went there FOR THE THIRD TIME they finally told me that the valve stem was leaking and that was likely the issue, they told me they would be replacing the tire and it would be ready in about an hour.

Thinking this was finally over I was happy to get my car back, when I signed the paperwork it said they had REPLACED MY TIRE with a new one and I was just about to leave the shop when I inspected my tires and noticed that the tire hadn’t been replaced they only fixed the valve stem. I went back inside and questioned the person and they told me that the tire was in good shape and again “they didn’t want to replace it, because it still in good shape”.

Fast forward to a week later and now my Tire Pressure Monitoring Service comes on every time I drive my car; none of the tires are low or need air and it comes on regardless (this is something that has never been a problem) my car is newer ONLY HAS 64,000 miles.

I reached out to Conrad’s Corporate weeks ago and they STILL haven’t even bothered to email me or call me about this issue.

Comment : I’ve been using Conrad‘s off and on for years now this last experience I had with them helping me out with ignition and then a starter was awesome. I was having an intermittent problem with the starter and it wasn’t acting up while they were able to look at it so they didn’t just go ahead and replace the starter eventually that’s what ended up happening, but I appreciate the fact that these guys didn’t just start replacing things for the sake of replacing them. They also got everything done in a timely manner. And honestly, I don’t have a problem with the rates that they were charging. It’s similar to other garages in the area. I won’t hesitate to bring my car back to them.
