Comment : Crazy seeing all these crazy reviews. My experience with the company was absolutely amazing. The driver waa on time, realized I was disabled and couldn't stand long and helped me in and out of his truck. We had great conversation and the 10 min ride had nothing but great vibes💯💪🏾🙏🏾

Comment : As like others here my insurance company set the tow and this people took on the job just to let me sit waiting for the tow for over 2 hours, insurance company followed up asking if the vehicle had been towed and it hadn't so they sent me a new Eta for 45 morr minutes. I called the provider and the lady answering the phon was not professional and stated that there had been a call from the police and that it takes priority over others which I understand so I waited some more to then get another revised Eta of over 85 more minutes so I called the towing company once again and the lady on the phone was rude once again... I am done, they make me wait for over 4 hours and are rude on customers to top it off... needles to say I contacted my insurance and canceled the tow explaining why.

Compass towing and recovery will not get my business ever.

Bad Business I would give 0 stars if I could.

Let's see the reply from the(owner) because I've read them on other reviews and the rudeness shows through here as well...

Comment : My truck was towed when I had a medical issue while driving on I-95. They charged $375 for a 6 mile tow just because the state police called for the tow. They also charged $75 for storage fee. If you pay with card, you also pay the credit card fee which is standard with most businesses. In total I had to pay $472.50 to get my truck. They claim that they don't set the $375 fee if state police called, and that they don't want to charge that much. Take that as you will, but consider that the money goes to the tow company and not the police agency.

Comment : Unable to delete review, but I am removing everything stated until i verify whether VSP sets the rate or not. Nothing online states that the company has to charge $375 if a trooper calls for the tow, but I am checking with VSP directly before I decide whether I should leave the review or not.

Comment : Dean was totally AMAZING in helping us when our car broke down earlier today. He was patient and extremely knowledgeable as to what our situation needed for getting us back on the road. (The underlining cover came loose and was dragging on the ground as we were driving on 95 heading to NC). Dean was Absolutely the Best in helping us resolve our situation! Know you are in GOOD hands when dealing with Dean and his crew‼

Comment : My GX 460 was towed by them after being hit in a parking lot over a weekend. My truck was then delivered the following work day to the certified Lexus Bodyshop for repairs. Per the delivery it was infested with ants 🐜 and door and front center counsels filthy with dirt stains all over and they try to say this was an act of nature and refuse to take responsibility. They ask if the Bodyshop can take a leaf blower to get rid of the ants. Just refuse to take accountability. I have health conditions which I have to keep my vehicle meticulously clean, my home and so forth besides that I’m a person with OCD as well. It’s sad, having to fight through getting this resolved is what’s happening due to the lack of taking responsibility. I do not recommend this company as they do not take pride in providing upstanding service they just get the work done any kind of way with a high disregard towards customers. Didn’t want to report this but it’s time to be transparent, shed light and awareness when services are not good. Reviews take work and time to write, but I will take the time and do my part as others need to aware of poor service around them and better choices can be made by the customer. Thank you. I pray compassion Towing Service improve as I know they can take more pride in the handling of customers property. Have a pleasant day.

Comment : You can improved by stop lying and take responsibility of what your employees do instead of denying it, telling the customer. Instead you jumped in your little feelings and took a knee jerk reaction. A real professional would have not demonstrated this behavior pattern. I know your type. You ascribe to bullying but it's truly a weak characteristic trait. 1st lie - I didn't have any liquid to explode in my vehicle. Ask and not accuse. Why would I bring damage to my own vehicle, I have an auto immune and respiratory health condition. Make it make sense... 2nd lie - I didn't send you pics, the bodyshop did trying to work with you. You're so busy focusing on a negative defensive response. Being mean and seeking to cover up your lack of accountability and taking responsibility. Instead because of my post on Google review, it's after the fact you offer to "help" pay for the damages and infestation of ants when in fact you should offer to cover the full cost associated. Just utter most ridiculous! I'll continue to pray for a heart and character change for you as a business owner. I'm a business owner as well. I would never shy away from a matter. Instead I seek to find a mutually agreed upon resolution especially, if I have property in my possession and I'm in the business line of towing that makes me responsible as your lot is supposedly be a secure lot. Have a million dollar day...

Comment : I actually called two other tow truck companies that did not answer the phone. The third one answered and said they could not tow me and referred me to another one. That guy was so hateful and disrespectful that I did not use them. On my ride back home I saw a Compass tow truck and pulled over to call them. The lady on the other end of the phone was very nice very helpful and very respectful. It took about an hour and a half before my vehicle showed up at my home. Which I think was pretty awesome The pricing was very acceptable and the tow truck driver was quite respectful as well. I do not give five stars easily but this company deserves it. Need a hand give them a call.

Comment : In my time of need they arrived quickly and got me and my vehicle to the auto shop safely.
