Comment : I would not recommend this place. I was originally quoted a little over $1,100 for a repair. Later, Haydee M. called to say the aftermarket part they ordered didn’t fit, so they would need to order a dealer part, which would take another week to arrive. At no point during that conversation was it mentioned that the cost would increase significantly, yet there was no problem telling me they found another problem that needed fixed.

When I went to pick up my car, I was shocked to find the total was over $1,800. That’s a major increase that should have been clearly communicated beforehand. If I had been informed, I could have decided whether to move forward with the repair. Instead, I was put in a position where I had no choice but to pay in order to get my car back.

On top of that, after looking up the cost of the parts, it appears they mark them up by at least 40%. Proceed with caution. People don’t write bad reviews for absolutely no reason.

Comment : My interaction with Cody's happened by chance. I was traveling through Virginia when I heard noise coming from my front brakes. Stopped at several shops before choosing to do business at Cody's. After inspecting the brakes further, the calipers needed to be replaced along with pads and rotors. Calipers were under warranty out of state. After a couple phone calls, calipers were in the shop in minutes along with the rest of the parts. A short while later, I was out the door. I highly recommend this business based on performance alone. Couple out with a family environment, veteran, friendly, and a desire to go above and beyond for their customers Make this an easy choice for automotive repair.

Comment : Cody?s Auto has become my go-to shop over the past year for all of my car maintenance needs. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and?most importantly?very affordable.

On one occasion, my local dealership quoted me $875 for new brakes; Cody completed the same work for $418. Another time, the dealership wanted $620 just to run diagnostics on a check engine light, while Cody handled it for $100, quickly identifying a weak battery and resolving the issue.

I?ve brought my car to Cody?s three times in the past year and have saved close to $1,000 compared to other estimates for similar work. I can?t recommend them enough for anyone looking for honest, reliable, and cost-effective auto service.

Comment : Have taken my car in before to get fixed, got "fixed". Took the car in a year later for another fix up, they then did our inspection with no permission. Which usually is fine, but it's not due until April. When asked when it was supposed to be done, "I don't know. They threw the old sticker away." The car was failed. Took it in to 2 other places to be checked out, the failures were due to the "fixes" they did before. The owner is the one who did the "inspection". Used to be good but now they are causing issues so you can spend thousands on their own mistakes. Don't come here. They will ruin your car.

Comment : Didn't fix my car i paid over 500 just for nothing. First they changed my battery and charged 300 plus towing. Car turns off in the middle of the intersection almost hits someone. You know whatever I get it towed again and ask them to fix it again. They put a little bit of oil in it and make me pay 200 for some oil and the tow I shouldn't have had to pay because it wasn't my fault. Car turns off in the middle of the road again. and I just lost 500 for nothing. They dont know what they're doing and im just so irritated. If you dont have an OBD 1 scanner should've just said that instead of wasting my time and money.
