Comment : I’ve been meaning to write and let you know how happy I am with your work. After the dealer stopped servicing it, I’ve gone to three mechanics over nearly 20 years for my 82 F-100 to try and fix the carburetor surging and sputtering. I’d pick it up and not be happy, the problem wasnt fixed and it compounded until I couldnt reliably operate the truck. Doug knew to tune it to the computer; I always wondered what that little thing labeled “Ford Computer” cotrolled in such a basic manual transmission truck engine. Apparently, none of us even thought to follow the wires. Doug knew his stuff. The vehicle runs amazingly now, I reckon like it did when I first got it in 1988.
