Comment : Walked in & said my name & appointment time for 2 tires & an inspection. I was greeted with nope . After he heard from my husband that it was the time scheduled he said - I may not have the tires. He looked them up after questioning me about the size & said, I have 2. (2 was all we needed). My appointment was for 2pm. I left at 4:40! I get home after the inspection & my husband said, you have a tail light out . Do NOT recommend. While I was there, a man who was there before I got there at 2, was told they could not do his antifreeze because they didn t have the equipment. I got there a little before 2 & this man was already there & had set up a computer at a table & was working. It was AFTER 3 when he was told this.So unorganized. Very slow!!Please look else whereWalked in & said my name & appointment time for 2 tires & an inspection. I was greeted with nope . Comment : I brought my 1994 Ford truck to Alray in Forest City, NC for an alignment. Although the appeared to actually align it, they didn't center the steering wheel while doing so, an essential part of the process.Far more critical than that, the mechanic failed to tighten the clamps which secure the tie rod adjusting sleeve on the passenger side! They were little more than finger tight, and the outer rod end had rotated into an acute position. Rotation of the sleeve may have also ocurred but I can't tell. I will need to get it realigned to verify. This is a massive oversight that could result in thread failure and separation of the tie rod ends. If this happened at any kid of significant speed, it could result in an accident...potentially fatal.I went and complained to them. The desk clerk listened and acknowledged the seriousness of the error. However I think that Alray's alignment mechanic committed a career-ending mistake. He shouldn't be working on anything important. If I had his name I'd include it here.I would NOT recommend anyone take their car to Alray in Forest City, NC. If you do, plan on checking tightness of every nut and bolt they touched.I brought my 1994 Ford truck to Alray in Forest City, NC for an alignment.
