Comment : Took my key chain apart in order to get my car keys off so they could put it in the lock box and put the rest of my key chain in my car. Idk I feel like if my car was fancy they wouldn?t have just thrown all my junk in my car and it out putting the key chain back together. Just kinda rude after I just spent $800 there.

Comment : Everything seemed fine! I had just gotten new tires, and I was getting a referral discount on an alignment here at CBA. I decided that getting an oil change would also be convenient while I was at it. I may not know how an alignment is completed, but I do know a tremendous amount about oil. Furthermore, my brother being an educated mechanic, he can generally help me sift through nonsense.

The problem wasn?t the alignment. Generally speaking, green is good on an alignment and red is bad, but sometimes you have to go a smidge red on one measurement to get everything else to go green. The car pulls very slightly to right, as it should! So alright, let?s get to why I gave this place one star.

The issue was the oil change. See attached photos. They presented me this photo, told me that the oil change was 17,000 overdue, and the engine urgently needed a special treatment. They then wanted to argue with me about how often a 2025 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid needed an oil change. Manufacture says 10,000 miles. They insisted on 5,000 miles.

Reality, amber oil is good oil! It was 200 miles early for an oil change, and there is no indication it needed a special treatment. I found their actions to be highly suspect. They clearly can?t do math, don?t know Toyota maintenance standards, don?t know the difference between good and bad oil, and tried to get me to spend more money on a service I didn?t need.

You have to be able to trust your mechanic. Whoever did the alignment, bravo! Whoever came up with the idea to try to mislead me and up-sale me, SHAME!

Comment : Beware of significant overcharging and questionable practices.

My daughter brought her car in for a routine oil change. It was not leaking beforehand. Immediately after the service, oil began appearing on the driveway. She returned to have it addressed, and they charged her $935.46 ($881.55 plus $49.80 in ?shop supplies? plus $4.11 for unknow reason) to replace the oil filter adapter housing?without providing any breakdown of parts and labor.

Let?s be clear: the leak began only after their oil change.

For comparison, the same repair at the Mercedes dealership would have cost ~$655. Our regular mechanic quoted $600. When I called to request a breakdown, the numbers raised more concern. They charged $249 for a part that costs $179 at the dealership?a 40% markup on a price that is already marked up. The job is a 2.1-hour repair. Even at a high labor rate of $200/hour ($420) plus $250 for the part, the total should land around $719.80 (including the $50 "shop supplies"). Instead, they added another $211.59. This does not include the original cost of the oil change ($241.39 - which is about ~$60 more than normal cost at other shops).

That?s not a pricing difference. That?s price gouging - consistent price gouging.

It?s bad enough to overcharge. It?s worse to do it on a repair that appears to have resulted from your own work. Taking advantage of anyone is unacceptable?targeting a young woman who trusted you with her vehicle is indefensible.

We?ve since learned this company (Christian Brothers is a chain) has a reputation in the mechanic community for inflated pricing and recommending repairs that may not be necessary. Proceed with caution.

Comment : Had a service need for my truck. Booked an appointment with Jimmy, the manager. I was very impressed with the front office professionalism and the cleanliness and dedication of the bays. While there were some issues with the fix, the mechanics persisted to get the job done. Yes, would recommend this pace.

Comment : Kind of embarrassing, BUT I came into the shop crying. Reason being, I had taken my truck to another mechanic for an oil leak. Said mechanic messed up a gasket repair on my truck. I had only had it back for 3 days before it started leaking oil again and I found myself at Christian brothers. I was so overwhelmed and stressed. The staff was so welcoming and didn’t make me feel bad once for being upset. I am so grateful for that. Christian brothers was able to fix the other mechanics mistake and get my truck back in check. She’s back to running like a dream! They were all so kind and informative. Plus, I love how they play scripture in the lobby. Super welcoming and very neat mechanic shop. Will only trust Christian brothers from now on. I can’t recommend them enough and I’m so grateful they fixed my truck!
