Oklahoma City, OK Reviewed : 10/26/2025 Comment : Primary reason for this posting is due to CB franchise owner never contacting me to clarify some questionable charges on our bill after he has REPEATEDLY promised to do so, & I've been unable to reach him using his bus. #'s.........................DO NOT have your vehicle repaired there unless you have unlimited funds & patience, which we don't....Our first & only visit to CB has ended up as a a VERY frustrating, overpriced experience....Not nearly enough time/space here to list all complaints, but two immediately come to mind: Appears our truck was never even test driven after a substantial tune-up, including fuel sys. work....I was allowed to test drive truck ONLY after I paid the bill, when I soon noticed that the "change oil soon" lt. hadn't been reset, which i had specifically requested to be done 2-3 times earlier of ....There were add. probs. found, but after finally getting lt. reset, I left & later corrected probs. myself ........BTW: I've personally owned & maintained literally dozens of vehicles in past 50 yrs. including 10 currently..........I also owned a full service garage for quite awhile..... 1 Reviews Spider kin Oklahoma City, OK Reviewed : 10/15/2025 Comment : Fantastic service and suprisingly transparent about what needed fixing alongside the pricing. Called to get a quote. Informed him it was a 2013 Chevy equinox that needed a transmission flush, filter and fluid replace as part of preventative maintenance. Was quoted 162.00. Cool, get her scheduled. My daughter takes the morning off work to deliver and takes an uber to work. They then email saying the exact service we were quoted $162.00 for is now over $400.00. After I spent the 10 minutes on the phone with him telling him this wasn’t right they said they could help by dropping the price to $380.00. We reluctantly agreed to this price even though it was more than double what they had previously quoted. Then 10 minutes later the manager called and said for that $380.00 we would not be receiving a transmission filter. And that they would only flush and fill the transmission for that price. So they wouldn’t do the service we needed done for the price that was 3x higher than they quoted. As a small business owner in the service industry I 100% know that mistakes can and will be made. But you have to honor what you or your employees say. Not every invoice will be a “winner” sometimes you just do what’s right because it’s the right thing to do. I am certain Christian brothers just used a predatory tactic to get us in the doors and then repeatedly raised the price. I cannot understand how a business can remain open when doing this to people. Told them I already had a mechanic try to recharge it with refrigerant and that he told me it is most likely an issue with my condenser. They went ahead and did a diagnostic on it and wrote in the report that the condenser is in good shape and didn’t appear to have any leaks or damage, cool. They came to the conclusion that I needed an expansion valve replaced and quoted me $400 to repair it on top of the $200+ dollars that they are already charging me for the diagnostic. It came out in total to a little over $700 which seemed pricey to me but I was desperate to get it fixed so I went ahead and approved it. 2 days later the A/C was not working again so I immediately took it back to them. They sent me a quote later that day saying that there’s a leak in my condenser and that it needed to be replaced, the same condenser that they found no issues with in the first diagnostic! I called them and asked them why this issue wasn’t detected the first time that I had them do a diagnostic and why I was charged $700 for the truck to end up the same. They had no real answer to why the condenser went from fine and in good shape to having a leak and needing to be replaced and just said that the part they replaced was gonna need to be replaced anyways. I obviously wasn’t gonna cough up the $1000 that they quoted me for replacing it after already giving them $700 for nothing so I went to go pick my truck up. Maybe it’s just this location because I’ve had good experiences in the past at the Santa fe location in Edmond but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! RO #1075379 1 Reviews Teresa l. Oklahoma City, OK Reviewed : 08/27/2025 Comment : I am once again, giving a five star review for Christian Brothers and for the guy that I dealt with whose name is Bob. I had an interaction with him on another car five years ago and he was the same kind, helpful, intelligent man that I dealt with this time. I took my two year-old vehicle to Christian Brothers because the dealership from which I bought it two months ago refused to be any help to me and I knew I could trust Christian brothers. They checked and found out that my car was still under warranty and the transmission problem I was having would be covered under that warranty. Even though the finance guy at Orr Nissan told me the manufacturer's warranty wouldn't transfer. I'm not that dumb and I knew that it would so I didn't want to reward him with purchasing an extended warranty. I would have gladly paid for the work to be done at Christian Brothers, but it seems like it's gonna be a whole transmission and I figured I would let Hyundai take care of that for me. You just can't go wrong by taking your car to Christian Brothers on Hefner. Every person that you deal with there is polite patient and informative and it's so clean.
