Comment : I had a truly great experience with Christian Brothers Automotive. I brought my truck in with multiple issues ? the AC wasn?t working properly on the driver?s side, and it needed shocks, an oil change, and a few additional repairs.

They took me in at the last minute without hesitation, which meant a lot. The pricing was fair, and the work was completed quickly and efficiently. They also used genuine GMC parts, which was a huge plus for me and gave me added confidence in the quality of the repair.

What really stood out was the level of care and service. Since my husband was at work, they arranged to pick me up once my vehicle was ready. They sent a female driver, which I truly appreciated. She was professional, respectful, and not intrusive. I also appreciated her choice of Christian/gospel music ? it created such a peaceful atmosphere. We ended up having a meaningful conversation about the Lord, and it was refreshing to connect with another believer in such an unexpected setting. In a time where you have to be mindful of what you say and to whom, that moment meant more than I can express. My only regret is that I didn?t have cash on me to tip her, as I normally would.

Mark was outstanding throughout the entire process. He kept me informed every step of the way and made sure all services were handled properly. That level of communication and follow-through does not go unnoticed.

I also appreciate that they stand behind their work with a strong warranty and have multiple locations across the U.S., which adds another layer of trust and reliability.

This is a business that operates with professionalism, integrity, and genuine care for their customers. I highly recommend them.

Comment : I had a very disappointing experience with Christian Brothers Automotive Roanoke, and specifically with a service advisor named Mark.

I initially brought my GMC Acadia in because the check engine light was on. I explained that I had a warranty with a $100 deductible. After diagnosing the issue, I was told the thermostat needed to be replaced to resolve the problem. However, after paying for the repair and getting my vehicle back, the check engine light came on again?meaning the original issue was not properly resolved.

During my visit, I also felt pressured into additional repairs that were not my original concern, including shocks and a battery replacement, despite having no prior issues with my vehicle starting or driving. These items were presented as urgent rather than optional recommendations, which I found misleading.

What was most concerning was the cost. I was charged over $800, even though my warranty deductible is $100. When I questioned this, I was told that warranty deductibles are ?never accurate,? which is simply not true and felt dishonest.

Additionally, I was given conflicting information about my rental car coverage. I was initially told they could not submit for reimbursement until the vehicle had been there 24 hours. After that time passed, I was then told I would need to handle the reimbursement myself, which was both frustrating and unhelpful.

Overall, I feel this experience involved unnecessary repairs, poor communication, and a lack of transparency. I did not feel that my concerns were prioritized, and I left feeling taken advantage of.

I will not be returning and would caution others to ask detailed questions, especially regarding warranty coverage and recommended repairs.

Comment : Excellent service. Had an Evac leak. Test was given and was leaking from the gas cap. Problem resolved. Very friendly and courteous.

Comment : I came in for a state inspection, I was in and out in around 45 minutes and it cost me like $18. Mark working at the front was so kind, helpful, and funny, and time just flew because he was chatting it up with me while I was waiting. I would come back again!
