Comment : I decided to bring my car here after reading the great reviews. My initial experience was very positive — they were friendly, courteous, and got me in quickly. The next day, they sent a detailed diagnostic report with a list of recommended repairs.

I completely understand that a repair shop is a business and part of their job is to identify potential issues. My concern wasn’t that they pointed out other things, but that everything was presented as urgent and the pricing was extremely inflated.

For example, the issue causing my car to jerk was a faulty crankshaft position sensor. The part costs about $40, and I replaced it myself in about 15 minutes — it was easily accessible and required no disassembly. Christian Brothers quoted me $700 for that repair.

They also said my cabin air filter needed to be replaced, even though I had literally replaced it the week before bringing the car in. They quoted $80 to change it — a job that takes under 30 seconds and costs $9 for the filter.

In total, their diagnostic recommended over $8,000 in repairs — more than my car is worth. When I declined the quote online, they called me immediately and made me feel like I was making a huge mistake and would soon have major problems. When I picked up my car, the person at the counter gave me a hard time for declining their services and again implied I’d regret not having the work done.

I seriously wonder how they’re coming up with these quotes, because they are insane. If they’re using some kind of automated system that assigns standard hours or markup percentages to every job, they really need to re-evaluate it. I’ve never seen prices so inflated in my life — especially for repairs this simple.

While the staff may appear professional and friendly, it’s clear they will take advantage of anyone who doesn’t have a solid understanding of car mechanics. If you go in unsure about what’s wrong with your vehicle or admit you’re not familiar with repairs, they will likely see that as an opportunity to upsell you on unnecessary or overpriced work. Unfortunately, that kind of approach doesn’t reflect honesty or integrity.

Unfortunately, based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend bringing your vehicle here unless you’re prepared to pay top dollar for even the simplest repairs.

Comment : Joe offered me candy while I was waiting. I politely let him know I will go into a short coma if I consume. So he took it away.
But fair warning: if you come here to get your car serviced, you may be offered treats

Comment : Christian Brothers was our trusted service center when we lived in Trophy Club and Southlake from 1990-1996. We returned to the area August 1 and took our truck in for inspection and servicing two days ago - we felt like we were home among a loving and caring family again. Trust, warmth, integrity, and kindness - this is Christian Brothers! Whether it’s related to a pre-purchase inspection, routine servicing, or unscheduled maintenance, Christian Brothers has all of our business!

Comment : Update: I was not expecting any follow up but Christian Brothers called me immediately after seeing my review and apologized and vowed to make it right (I never called to inform them of my missing cap since 4 months had gone by). They stepped up to the plate and ordered an OEM cap and flushed the brake lines and replaced the fluid. Great customer service which is not typical these days. I really appreciated the honesty and integrity they had to own up and correct their mistake. Knowing that mistakes can happen even at the best businesses but not everyone will admit and correct it says a lot about the company.
First time taking my vehicle in for an oil change and multi point inspection back in June and noticed today that my brake fluid reservoir cap was missing. Since it’s been uncapped for almost 4 months I will need to have my brake fluid changed due to their negligence. I wish I would have noticed this sooner but who looks under their hood after their oil change.

Comment : Good experience today getting my cabin filter changed. They ran on time, did the work in the estimated amount of time, and when they could not complete the full vent clean, they adjusted the cost down for only a partial cleaning. The people were professional, efficient and customer service oriented.
