Comment : ⚠ WARNING: What Happened to My Alfa Romeo at Christian Brothers Automotive – North Katy

I trusted Christian Brothers Automotive in North Katy to service my Alfa Romeo, and what should have been a simple repair turned into a major safety concern for me, my family, and anyone else who drives or rides in my car.

They charged me $1,458.94 for repairs and inspections (see attached invoice), including a Multipoint Inspection, Diagnostics, and other services. But here's the issue — a part that was working perfectly fine before the visit is now compromised, making the vehicle unsafe to operate. When I brought this to their attention, the response from the staff was basically:
🗣 "Not our fault."

No accountability. No urgency. No resolution.
They acknowledged the part is now a problem — but instead of correcting their mistake, they’re brushing it off like it’s not their issue.

Let me be clear:
👉 This isn't just about money — it's about safety and trust.
I paid you to make my car better. Instead, you created a risk that didn’t exist before.

I can’t in good faith recommend a company that takes your money but won’t take responsibility when they make things worse.

“$1,400+ later and I left with a new safety issue in my car. I trusted Christian Brothers Automotive – North Katy with my Alfa Romeo, and they broke something that now puts me, my family, and others at risk — and said it’s not their fault. Please do better.”

Comment : My wife had her 2019 Toyota Highlander here for work where Jonathan qouted her 2600 dollars for replacing both side of her front end control arms, and removing and replacing her cv axle assembly. An hour or so later they call her to tell her they needed to remove the engine to complete the job and that it would cost 800 dollars more. I in turn spoke to the manager Richard who tried to explain to me how it was a mistake and that they should have said that from the start. He ended up taking some money off but in the end we ended up paying close to 3000. My wife gets home so I go out to look at the vehicle. None of the bolts for her engine mounts have been touched. The deliberately misled my wife and if I had not intervened they would have taken her for 800 dollars instead of the 400. I want everyone to be aware of what kind of shop this is and how they mislead my wife. I wouldn't doubt they do this to single women all the time. Thankfully they only ripped us off 400 dollars instead of the full 800. We will never go to any Christian Brothers again.

Comment : Took my Toyota in for battery troubles, they replaced my battery, sparkplugs, and throttle it was 2500 but was OK paying that much if the car ran ok. A week later the battery light came back on and I took it back and they wanted 800 for a new alternator put in place. I had just replaced my alternator 2 months ago and still had the warranty and 800 for something I did myself as well as already paying them 2500 to fix it right the first time. They thought they could scam me twice. Even tried to convince my husband to take out a loan through them. They should have covered the cost themselves for not catching that on their "detailed diagnosis" that's $190
