Comment : They are friendly, professional, and listened without dismissing me.

I took my mom's car in to have some parts added and replaced to correct the alignment. After the service, everything was within the correct parameters, but I still felt the car pulling to one side. Without giving me any hassle, theylooked the car over again and made a few adjustments so that the driving experience was smoother for me while remaining within the proper alignment.

Comment : When choosing to use Christian Brothers automotive, I should've ran when I seen that they charged me $200 just to plug their computer into my vehicle and tell me what I already knew. Yes I had a check engine light on. Yes I have a tire sensor light on excuse me, sir, that'll be $200 thank you. Stay away from the corporation type automotive shops. They got big bills to pay therefore they'll sit you with big bills.

Comment : Took my truck here thinking I had transmission issues. They took a look and wanted to replace it for nearly $8,000. Decided to try a different mechanic and found out there were no codes that went off for my transmission, only fuel codes, which was never disclosed to me by Christian Brothers. Spent a little over $500 for repairs at the other mechanic and my truck works great now.

Comment : I dropped my car off on March 16th under a warranty claim. While the warranty was confirmed to cover one issue, I was informed that another issue was found, which led to a $149 inspection fee. I did not object to this at the time. Both issues were repaired, and I picked up my vehicle.
On March 26th, my engine light came back on. I returned the car that Friday around 8:00 a.m., believing it was related to the same problem. By 2:00 p.m., I had received no updates, so I called for a status check. I was told my car would be next, as they were finishing other vehicles. At 4:37 p.m., I received a text stating my car was being reviewed and that an estimate would follow shortly. I never received one that day, and as a result, my car sat there the entire weekend without any communication.
I called again Monday at 9:00 a.m. since no one had followed up. I was told the person working on my estimate was on another call and would contact me shortly. Over an hour later, I finally received the estimate along with a phone call. The estimate was extremely high and included work that I was previously told was not necessary, but had been added ?just in case.?
I questioned why I was being charged another inspection fee when my car had just been inspected a few weeks earlier and this issue was not identified. I was told that because the error had not been found during the previous inspection, the fee was required. At that point, my frustration with the lack of communication and inconsistent explanations was already high.
What is most concerning is that once I stated I planned to take the car to another mechanic, the estimate was immediately reduced by nearly half. I was told much of the work wasn?t necessary and that the primary repair would cost around $1,500. This made the original estimate feel inflated and difficult to trust.
I declined the repairs and later picked up my car. On the drive home I noticed a part underneath the vehicle (appearing to be the splash shield) dragging on the ground, something that was not occurring prior to bringing it in.
Overall, between the poor communication, questionable pricing practices, and the condition in which my car was returned, this was a very disappointing experience.

Comment : We were in Lubbock for my husband?s cancer treatment and my check engine light came on in my Ford Ranger. The Ford dealership didn?t have time to look at it but recommended we call Christian Brothers. They said bring it in and they would look at it right away. We brought it in and they looked at it right away, ran diagnostics, and got it fixed within a couple of hours. We were able to get on the road and go home the next morning. Everyone was super nice.

Comment : I had a good experience with the team. Everyone was helpful. Worked on my spark plug and coil, battery and terminal, bearings, and oil change. Price was expensive but I did get a few quotes around town and I got a good deal here, I?m satisfied and will return.
