Great communication as well 1 Reviews Austin sahs LAKE WORTH, TX The reasoning they gave me was that the locksmith's reader couldn't connect and neither could their reader connect to the system. This was false, the locksmith's reader was functioning, and was able to communicate with the vehicle. It was not able to program a new key because the anti theft module was not working. Additionally, upon plugging in my own OBDII reader, I was able to get the vehicle data to load, but it didn't give any error codes. So with this information, I can only assume they saw the vehicle, it didn't tell them exactly what was wrong, (codes) and said no we can't do it.My frustration is that this is a mechanic shop or at least is supposed to be. I would expect some more basic troubleshooting rather than well the computer doesn't tell me, so therefore we don't want to do it. It comes across as unprofessional and lacking of skills.I give them two stars, because while the experience was ultimately frustrating, they at least, took me to O'Reilly's to replace the battery that had died while sitting on the lot.Edit to respond to owner response 04/24/26:The buick was not towed, I drove it into the lot. The dash panels were removed to provide access to the wiring, thus limiting the labor involved if there was to be any labor. As my review stated, the shop was unable to find an error code with a code reader, so the troubleshooting stopped there. Updating to 1 star because of the uneducated response.'> Reviewed : 04/25/2026 Comment : This is a good repair shop if the repair is simple in nature and can be found with a code reader.I brought my car here which had a security issue that caused intermittent stalling. Upon doing some research, all signs were pointing towards the anti theft module. So I called ahead and verified that they do in fact have the ability to program a new module. So I drove the car down to have them inspect and replace the module. Upon getting there, they said it was a key issue and recommended a lock smith. Ok. So after some back and forth, the lock smith arrives and says, again, it was pointing towards the anti theft module.Ok. So now I left the car so they could begin the repair and figure it out. After about a week, I get a call saying that it has major electrical issues of which was not specified so it would require "replacement of the entire harness". Ok. I asked how much that would be, and they told me they would call back. Tim kept me aware of progress and walked me through the online authorization process. The diagnostic and authorization took only one day and repairs (complete AC replacement) was completed halfway through the second day thanks to Nick the technician. LAKE WORTH, TX Reviewed : 03/06/2026 Comment : Better off going anywhere else. Took my car in that had multiple issues, which I'm aware of, which I informed them of. I explained that I knew the car had suspension issues and needs new brakes, I even shared all of the codes that came up as I recently had the transmission rebuilt and that the transmission shop let me know what the codes were. I needed a diagnostic done to figure out what the issue was, likely the intake manifold and an upstream 02 sensor. After leaving my car at the shop all day, I get a long list of issues that need to be fixed with a grand total of about $7000. The funny thing is that I paid $165 for them to tell me all the issues I already knew I had, but wanted to charge another $200 to diagnose the problem I went there for in the first place. Also tried to make me wait another day to get my vehicle back as their "courtesy shuttle" was not back yet, so a $40 uber on top of being robbed for $165. Got a call back as he magically "just arrived." When I arrived to get my car they joked about "how many red lights did he run? Y'all got back fast." I made an appointment and requested oil change, state inspection, air and cabin air filters. Dropped the car off and meet with Lance the Service manager. Gave me an estimate and told me they would contact be when vehicle was ready as well as send me updates which it was being service. They sent me texts letting me know the vehicle was in the shop, it passed inspection, oil was changed using synthetic oil, waiting for cabin air filter. I had received a text with a photo letting me know that the engine air filter looked brand new. I usually keep track of things like that but fail to note that I had recently replaced the air filter, my error. When I picked up the vehicle, the air filter charge had been removed. The service was outstanding. If you are looking for a professional, honest, competent, friendly auto service shop, choose CBA, you will be pleasantly surprised.
