Comment : I had an awesome experience with Christian Brothers. I needed all my brake pads and rotors replaced, and they really worked with me on pricing to make it manageable. They were upfront, honest, and didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need. The staff was super friendly and explained everything clearly. They even showed me why my brakes needed to be replaced by walking me through the car repair. The work was done quickly, and my car feels brand new. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality service without feeling ripped off. Will definitely be coming back for any future repairs.

Comment : The people are friendly! You'll always get service with a smile. The work/life balance is great for the employees because of the Monday through Friday hours, but this can make it a bit difficult for customers. However, the shop is great if you need a quick part fixed!The only reason why I wouldn't recommend the company is due to forgotten service requests. I come in with a request to fix two issues that I explain to the front desk, but only one ever gets worked on. This makes me come in two or more times to get my work done. Again, the service hours mean I have to take time off work more than once to try (and usually fail) to resolve my issues. I've tried for years now.During my last visit I was charged for an inspection, but it's not certain if it was done or not. Either the "result paper was lost" or the inspection was never done. Comment : I am not one to post reviews but feel it necessary for this business. I have used this Christian Brothers location for over a year. I know nothing about cars and they bring down the car terminology down to my level. They even called and talked to my dad explaining everything. Recently I brought my car back in because I was certain it was acting weird. They checked everything over and assured me nothing was wrong. They could ve easily told me something was wrong and charged me a lot of money. Comment : We have been long time customers at this location, having used them for multiple cars over the better part of a decade. There have been a few hiccups over the years, but they've generally stepped up and took responsibility when they should. They initially did so after a recent repair job on a front wheel strut. While driving home from work, the wheel failed, but fortunately I had just exited the freeway so I managed to maintain control. They repaired nearly all the damage at their expense which I appreciated at the time. However, during a subsequent oil change, they found more damage to the same wheel, but this time they did not accept responsibility, stating that it was unrelated to the previous damage to the same tire. I had always trusted their work in the past, but knowing that they will not back up their work, I have to end 10 years of using their business. I expect that for the amount they charge for their work, that I can trust that the repair is complete and safe. Comment : Honestly I don't know why I keep coming back here.Well they mean well and they're super nice and polite and friendly they run on inefficiencies. I came in for a simple safety inspection I should have taken 7 minutes and in the half hour that I waited they didn't even get to the person's vehicle that was ahead of me in line.There were zero sense of urgency to get these people in and out the lady that was ahead of me had to leave for work in 9 minutes and they hadn't done her inspection yet I had somewhere that I needed to be and now I wasted a half hour of my life sitting there in a lobby waiting to have my car looked at and never got looked at.I brought my car here for other things before and it's been the same ammo there's no sense of urgency something simple takes longer than it needs to they always insist on signing you up for text messaging even though you tell them repeatedly I do not want to be text messaged.Today was the straw that broke the proverbial camel's back. Comment : Not a fan of this location. They pride themselves on being nice (listen to their call waiting message), but my experience has not been so nice. I went in two months ago for a state inspection and they found a $1,500+ fix (replacing shocks). I went ahead and had the repairs. 8 weeks later I returned for an oil change and lo and behold, another $2000 fix was found! Now, why wasn t that spotted the first time around? The second issue (arm controller) was in the same location as the first issue, so this was more than an oversight. Seems like these folks just want you to spend money with them. Upon doing my own research, they were overcharging by at least $500. Again, not so nice. I won t be returning here.Not a fan of this location. Comment : I ve been using this specific Christian Brothers location for over three years now. Just recently, they caught a coolant and oil leak in my wife s car. The team was incredibly helpful and punctual, I couldn t ask for a better shop! Not only did the mechanics do a wonderful job, but Mike and John provided exceptional customer service. I did want to take a minute to brag on John specifically though, he has been working there for as long as I ve been bringing my vehicles to this location. He is the sole reason we continue to come to the Grant Rd., Christian Brothers even though now at our new home, it s out-of-the-way.I ve been using this specific Christian Brothers location for over three years now.
