Comment : They would NOT send somebody to give me a jump so i could take my car to their shop and they would NOT let me borrow jumpers cables either despite the fact that they offer rides back to customers. I was only a mile from their store and also, our family spends thousand of dollars a this shop!! Shame Shame guys, you sure left a sour taste in my mouth!

Comment : In for the vehicle state inspection and change rear window wiper blade. Person behind the counter quickly process the order request. Out in about an hour, had expected to wait up to 1.5 hours. Service support has always been outstanding.

Comment : DO NOTGO HERE. Over $1,395 Spent, and My Truck Was Still Overheating

I brought my 2016 Ford F-150 to Christian Brothers Automotive after it began experiencing overheating issues. I paid $1,395.60 for diagnostic work and repairs, including replacement of the active grille shutter system.

When I spoke with the shop over the phone, I was told that the grille shutter was the cause of the overheating and that my truck would be ready that same day. Later, I was told they were running tests, but I was never informed that the truck was still overheating or that further diagnosis was needed. I was told I would receive a call the following morning when it was ready. I never received that call and had to go to the shop myself to get an update.

Only after I arrived was I told that the overheating issue was still occurring and that the water pump might be the problem. I was then quoted additional money to remove and inspect the water pump.

I took the truck to another mechanic for a second opinion. They diagnosed problems with the thermostat and water pump, replaced both components, and resolved the overheating issue.

My frustration is not simply that the grille shutter had a fault. It is that I was told the grille shutter was the cause of the overheating, paid for the repair, and was not clearly informed that the original problem remained unresolved until I returned to the shop myself.

I contacted Christian Brothers to explain the discrepancy, provided my account of what happened, and requested a refund. I also have the invoices, diagnostic documentation, and the original parts removed from my truck. I have not received a response to my message.

Based on my experience, I am disappointed with the communication, diagnostic process, and the outcome relative to the amount I paid. I would encourage anyone dealing with a major mechanical issue to get a second opinion before authorizing expensive repairs.

Comment : I can't express how grateful I am for this place. They are honest and stand behind their work. We have come here for everything we need, from air conditioning, transmission and engine work. Right now I need a tune up and oil change, I trust that they'll do a good job as always!

Comment : Nothing describes female frantic quite like vehicle trouble in a school zone on a 100 degree day. Thank Heaven for Scott and the Christian Bros., Georgetown, team. Scott suggested a terrific tow company and I was back on the road within 24 hours. Repairs were completed efficiently and at a reasonable price. I'm in Liberty Hill but elect to go the extra distance to CBA, Georgetown…because they definitely go the extra mile for me!

Comment : Christian Brothers Mechanic deserves a medal for keeping their cool! They handled my car with all the grace my husband *didn't* have when I took it in without his blessing. While he was pacing like a worried cat, they calmly fixed everything and even threw in a few comforting words for my husband sudden fragile masculinity. It's safe to say my car is running smoothly, and my husband is still a bit ruffled. Thanks for being the adults in the room!
