Comment : Stopped by to get information for a repair on my vehicle. The person in the front was so nice. He wasn't able to get my car in for repair that day, but I was really happy with how nice the person was. I will use this shop for sure.

Comment : I have been a frequent user of Christian Brothers - 5 times since I moved to Houston 1.5 years ago. However, the most recent experience was a dissappointment.

I visited the Fulshear location for oil change. As usual I downloaded the $49.95 coupon from its website and showed it to the staff when checking in. The staff confirmed to me that the coupon was applied. Then I waited in the store, received the inspection report via my phone, all items were shown as green, no approvals or any other actions were requested from me. When the service was done, I reiceived the bill of $98.96 - literally twice as much as the coupon amount. I questioned the amount, and was told that it was because a special filter was used for the service.

What upsets me:
1. The $49.95 oil change special coupon specified that it includes "Up to 5 quarts, standard filter". I had NEVER asked for a "special filter" for this service;
2. If the "special filter" was necessary to perform the service, due to the fact that it would cause such a significant increase in the service cost, I should have been informed and consulted prior to the installation - unfortunately it didn`t happen;
3. In the final bill I received, the use of $49.95 coupon special was nowhere to be found;
4. After the service, the old oil-change reminder sticker (by PepBoys) was not removed from my windscreen, a new reminder sticker was not put on.
5. After the service, the OBD cover was carelessly tossed onto the driver floor.

I had always been an advocate of Christian Brothers among my network, however after this recent experience, I will have to stop doing that - for the sake of my own reputation.

Comment : Horrible experience. Took my vehicle over there because a sound in my clutch. They charged me 165 dollars for a “diagnostic”. Charged me over 700 dollars for “the repair” and when I got my car the sounds from the clutch was still there. When I told them about it they said that was a “different” sound. And want me to leave the car, again. Wanted to charge me for a “new diagnosis”. SCAM. Never coming back. Stay away from that place.
