Comment : I inherited my dad's 2008 dodge Ram pick up truck. I'm not from Oklahoma and did not have a mechanic. I found Christian Brother's and gave them a call. My dad's truck needs $3,000 in repairs. I decided to wait on the repairs. I bought a new car. I appreciate the comfort level I felt going through this with their staff. I Will definitely use them again.

Comment : I will never bring my car to this business and you shouldn't either. Through the inspection process we asked for the mechanic to look at our transmission which was working fine but occasionally finding the wrong gear. They reported that the transmission was low on fluid and that they corrected this problem. Immediately, after leaving the repair shop, our transmission overheated, caused by too much transmission fluid being added. The over heating event caused the fluid to burn and clog the transmission cooler. They have refused to take responsibility for this mistake which led to costly repairs. This was a direct result of misdiagnosis of the original problem. I explained that the transmission was working fine before we left the car with them but they refuse to take responsibility. I highly recommend that you take your business elsewhere. We used the Christian brothers at the Santa Fe and Danforth location.

Comment : DO NOT COME HERE. Save money and go somewhere else. 0 star review. They charged me $400 to "fix" my ac. After I left, within 1 mile, the ac stopped working again. I brought it back to them and they quoted me $3,000 to "fix" it. They are crooks and bad mechanics. Another shop quoted me $1,400 to fix the problem.

Comment : We recently took our 2008 Honda for a brake repair. New master cylinder, labor, about $800. About a week later, the brakes are failing intermittently. Zach, the service manager, indicates that they cannot recreate the brake failure. We had two drivers notice the failure, and it was the same symptoms as originally. I'm hesitant to use the company again. Not sure they care enough to try to recreate the failure, and even so, they acknowledged the failure prior to the first repair. Same symptoms again. We'll try to find a more knowledgable mechanic.

Comment : PLEASE, don't let the name and the Bible verses on the wall mislead you. Word says Satan comes as a wolf in sheep's clothing and knows the Bible better than any of us... these people were absolutely NOT upfront with me about what was being done and what I would owe until they had me backed into a corner and couldn't get out because of the warranty. They KNEW what they were doing. PLEASE, in full transparency, take your business elsewhere.

Comment : He recommended brakes on my vehicle, took to another shop and they showed me I still had plenty of pad life left-- about a year. Will NEVER go here or recommend to anyone.

Comment : I have had a terrible experience and spent thousands with Christian Brothers last year and left with a vehicle that is not drivable. 2013 Chevy Equinox with 105,000 miles.  (Typical vehicle that requires a repair.)

May 2023 Christian Brothers diagnosed my vehicle with a timing issue and did repair.  It cost me $2500.  They also charged me the $149 diagnostic for time in diagnosing.  CB took over a week to complete the job.  This left me without a vehicle for the entire time. The diagnostic code was P0017 for the job.

After a week I went to pick up the vehicle. The vehicle still had a check engine light on when I picked it up.  I drive the vehicle for a mile and turned around and brought it back to the shop. They scrambled and took another day.

Fast forward to June 2023 and the vehicle still is running poorly.  Christian brothers asked again for a diagnostic which I refused.  I took it to the local parts shop and was diagnosed with P0014.

The diagnostic trouble codes P0017 and P0014 are indeed closely related and often interconnected in the context of a vehicle's timing issues. Both of these trouble codes typically indicate problems with the camshaft position sensor, crankshaft position sensor, or the variable valve timing (VVT) system.
P0017 specifically points towards a correlation error between the crankshaft and camshaft positions. This means that the timing between these critical components is not aligned as per the manufacturer's specifications. On the other hand, P0014 signifies a problem with the camshaft position, often indicating that the camshaft's timing is not where it should be in relation to the crankshaft.
These codes are intricately linked as they both involve the synchronization of the camshaft and crankshaft. When a vehicle initially displays the P0017 code and undergoes timing-related repairs, it's highly unusual for the vehicle to subsequently exhibit the P0014 code unless the underlying timing issue was not properly resolved during the initial service.

If the Christian Brothers of Edmond serviced the vehicle to address the P0017 code by working on the timing system and the vehicle now exhibits the P0014 code, it strongly suggests a continuity or compounding issue arising from the initial problem or incomplete repair. It is improbable for a new, unrelated problem to manifest so directly after a service focused on rectifying a similar timing issue.

Therefore, it is logical to assert that the occurrence of the P0014 code following the service by Christian Brothers of Edmond is intricately related to the previous P0017 code and the work carried out by the mechanic.

Christian Brothers has not and will not resolve the P0014 issue with the vehicle. They quoted an additional $1500 worth of work THAT WAS NOT REQUIRED TO RESOLVE THE P0014 DIAGNOSTIC CODE.

They OVERSELL you on the fact that they have a great warranty, but then don't honor it when needed.

Buyer beware.  Do not use them for complex mechanics.  You will end up paying more and receiving less.
