Comment : After the diagnosis on my truck which cost $200, I chose, the next day, to have my truck towed, at my expense, to Amarillo, TX (my home) to be repaired there at a cost $1500 cheaper than Cedar Crest Tire quoted. I was told that I had to pay a $390 re-stock charge before they would release my truck. "I never signed a written agreement to have the work done by Cedar Crest Tire" but they supposedly went ahead and ordered the parts to fix it. What a bunch of BS...what it all boils down to, in my opinion, is that a "vehicle with out of state license plates" that was broken down was towed to them by AAA (Spartan Towing. driver Omar...great job) and this was a chance to screw the customer by 1-overcharging them $1500 and 2-.when the customer elected to have the repair work done by another service shop they falsely charged the customer a re-stock fee because "they lost the business".
