UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER: CAARs have taken the goodwill of their reputation and raised prices to astronomically greedy amounts for even the simplest of jobs.

Just to get your car looked at for ONE issue is $165. Just to look. If you have two issues, no matter how minor, that?s $330. No work has even been started.

If you are not made of money, do NOT go to this shop.

Just one example of how insanely dishonest their pricing has become: the LABOR cost to replace 1 air filter (a 10 minute job) is now $99. They charge over 130 dollars all-in for freaking air filter.

I dropped off my car overnight, and the next day was threatened with a $75 parking fee if I didn?t approve the repair the very next day.

Extremely disappointed since this auto shop used to be the best in town.

More examples: brake fluid service: $200
Starter replacement: $700
Belt replacement: $300
Replacing ONE washer fluid hose: $171

Really loved this place before, so I?m holding out hope they can take feedback and improve their pricing structure.

Comment : If you are looking for a trustworthy place to fix your car, then look no further than CAARS! They are hands down the best auto repair business I have ever experienced! I have taken my 23 year old Honda to them several times over the last few years and I always know that it is in good hands there. You will also get great and friendly customer service, excellent and honest communication, and efficient turn around times too. I will never take my car anywhere else other than CAARS (so you should too!).

Comment : One of the best car repair experiences I?ve ever had! After an over priced estimate a dealer, I had my daughter?s car towed here and had the pleasure of working with Dan throughout the inspection and quoting process. He was honest, transparent and knowledgable during the entire process. Not only was the total cost of the repairs more than half less than what the dealer quoted, in the end it was even less because they found they didn?t actually need to replace my battery cables, they just needed a good cleaning. If I could give 100 stars I would. Thank you Dan for being amazing to work with!! Even with me being a couple states away you were incredible helping me get my daughter back on the road!

If you're female looking for honest professional trustworthy mechanics, use this establishment. I'm not a person who likes to leave reviews, but individuals have merited this over the last four years of service that they have been providing me.
