Comment : We have a 2002 GMC Yukon and were having shifting issues. I talked to Bob and he talked me off the ledge. Wasn't sure it the vehicle was worth fixing. They ran a diagnosis - found the issue and we a are back on the road. Andrew, the Technician was outstanding! I would recommend this shop to my Mom and anyone else needing transmission work! Comment : I was referred to Budget Transmission when I inquired about a fluid exchange for my transmission at Firestone Complete Auto Care. I called and asked for a diagnostic at Budget. I explained my situation about wanting a fluid exchange. They lady on the phone asked about my car's symptoms and told me to bring my car in. I asked if I should get it towed down there. She said no. To just take a back road down there and go slow. I left my car there. Budget called me and quoted me for a new transmission minus the labor cost because the part was already going to cost $6000!! Long story short, never told me I had to pay for the diagnostic. Went to retrieve my car, they wanted me to pay $160 to get my car bk. Spoke to someone else, a manager perhaps. I explained my situation and the guy didn't charge me for the diagnostic. Make your own judgements.
