Comment : My first experience with Browns was completely positive. I had called other service centers and they quoted between $500 to over $1000 without even checking my vehicle, Chris said to bring in for a simple brake check and they found it just needed a simple clean and adjust. Thanks Browns for taking care of me and my Toyota.

Comment : took my truck there for a transmission replacement, I am regretting ever walking into browns. The manager kept telling me that their supplier kept sending them the wrong model one week turned into seven!!! and two browns locations. I expressed that this was not instilling the greatest confidence in me. After five weeks and paying for a rental car. they call me to pick it up and oh by they way that there was a fair amount of engine vibration in my vehicle that i would need to address down the road. (It was NOT doing it prior to me dropping off the vehicle) I pick up the truck and sure enough the engine wanted to vibrate out of the engine bay!!!! the manager tried to down play it and tell me its not a big deal just need to replace my engine mounts. (NO those where replaced with new about 60K ago when i replaced the engine!!) I tried to limp it home but it wouldn't even shift gears when i tried to get on the freeway, they could have KILLED ME! i had to park it and have it towed home. I called the manager and he tried down playing it again "Oh its just the computer trying to learn your driving habits" I took it to another browns location where the did replace the transmission again under warranty. Now my engine is knocking.... Don't let these people work on your car, there are better shops around town. If some one asks me where a good shop is,I am very prompt to tell them...."NOT BROWNS!"

Comment : Browns Automotive has consistently been professional, fast, and accurate whether working on my personal or work vehicles.

They just recently handled a full diagnostic eval on my 6.0 Super Duty and replaced the serpentine belt, fuel filter, and transfer case oil the very next day on short notice.

Chris and the team at the 4th Street location in Los Ranchos are my go to auto shop!!
