Comment : New to the area, and based on the reviews went to Brown’s Automotive. I don’t have a perfect car, and just drive it to get by. Don’t go to this place if you’re like minded. My car went from just having a rear oil leak from my previous mechanic to 5 grand in repairs way over the cars value. And to top it all off my car was in worse drivable condition than it was when I dropped it off, car started making a thumping noise, left them a voicemail and no response. The only thing I could think of when they did the inspection on it was remove the wheels and didn’t balance them/align them again, or didn’t top off oil after inspection, because they thought I would get EVERYTHING repaired there. My old reliable mechanic at home would have included adjusting those things, topping off oil in the inspection before sending me away. I was trying to talk to the mechanic to only get the rear oil leak fixed or the necessities because my car was driving perfectly fine, no warning lights, drived smooth steering, tires/wheels were fine until I came to this shop. I have driven this car multiple times cross country, no issues. They wouldn’t budge from the 5 grand in repairs, when in reality talking to another mechanic some of those repairs could have waited until a later date. I get that some people want every little thing fixed on their car, but some people can’t afford that and just have a car to get by.

Comment : Extremely pleased that Browns Auto Experts was able to perform a complex and unusual repair that the dealer quoted me an outrageous price on. The technicians are highly skilled and the management is super committed to customer satisfaction. These folks are auto problem solvers! The inspection was very thorough (worth every penny), easy to understand and fully documented with photo proof. Browns Auto Experts has a great network and knowledge about where to source parts very quickly and although they to work through several attempts to get the right parts the work was completed on time. I was treated extremely well and even shuttled to and from the nearby golf course. I won’t be going anywhere else for support and expertise in caring for our cars. A great company - total excellence in every aspect!
