Comment : I requested they look at my exhaust system because there was a good bit of rust damage and I had already had it welded once before. I had a beautifully sounding, deep, rumbling performance muffler on my truck. They contacted me and said it needs a new exhaust system from the cat back. I said ok, how long? He said we can have it done by tomorrow. I said go ahead and do it. I had assumed they would replace my exhaust with what I had or at least something similar. NO, I got a quiet flow exhaust. I sucked it up. Blamed myself for not communicating better with them. At no point was it ever communicated to me what they were putting on my truck. Fast forward 1 month to today. I???m driving down the highway and the exhaust falls off and is dragging and sparking down the highway! I pull off and attempt to secure it somehow. I get it back up into one of the exhaust supports so it???s not dragging. I call Brooks and explain the situation. Their reply ???I???m sorry that happened to you, can you bring it in tomorrow. I say no, I work, but I will bring it after work. He says that doesn???t work, how about Monday. I said, I???m right down the road can you guys look at it and at least secure it before the weekend? Nope! ???What am I supposed to do this weekend???? ???We can look at it Monday morning sir.??? What if that was your wife or child driving? They're supposed to call AAA on the side of the road? Nothing in terms of ???we???ll make it right???, ???we???ll get it fixed immediately???. Just calm and cool and blank like this happens all the time. It should have been welded from the start, not clamped but I guess I???m not surprised at this point. The guy clearly couldn???t have cared less and it???s my problem to fix.
