He worked diligently to find us a vehicle that matched what we wanted/needed with a fair price point. He and Tyler both were awesome during our visit! Ellisville, MO Reviewed : 06/24/2025 Comment : My 2017 Mazda CX-9 was purchased in 2020 online. 05/14/25 it had an overheating error and I immediately took it to the closest auto shop. I have only ever done regular maintenance for this vehicle so it was a surprise to get this error message. It took a couple days for the auto shop to find coolant was leaking from a cracked cylinder head. We found out that there is a TSB for this specific issue as it is a defect with this type of engine. Mazda has a manufacture's warranty for 5 years so that couldn't help me. The auto shop ordered parts with my VIN from Bommarito Mazda and asked for the parts associated with this TSB. When the auto shop found out what was needed, they were surprised there were so many parts needed and expressed concern at the cost for the customer as it would be close to $10,000. Mazda parts said "Yup, at least $10,000 and it happens all the time." The auto shop felt bad for me and tried to save me money where they could. I tried to contact Mazda by email but received an error message on their website. I chatted with someone at the Mazda USA website and provided my VIN. I was told to go to to the reimbursement website. This didn't help me because the reimbursement website is only for recalls and this was a TSB. At this point, my auto shop was still waiting on parts from Mazda. I found Mazda was being sued for this specific issue since Spring of 2024. I hoped I would get reimbursed someday. I wanted to file a complaint with Mazda to help with the case against them. I called Mazda customer experience and provided my VIN number and they told me I had an extended warranty, a CSP-11. This was the first I heard of an extended warranty. Unfortunately, the auto shop was just about to finish the repair on my car. Customer service told me to talk to my local dealership. I was told I should have gone to a Mazda dealership. I was also told a notice was sent out to Mazda owners about this extended warranty. I never received this notice and I didn't purchase my car from a Mazda dealership so why would I take it to a dealership? I was then told that I should have taken my car to a dealership when a TSB was found. My car was in pieces to find out where the coolant leak was coming from. Why would I take it to the dealership? I was then told I should have registered my car with Mazda and that it was a benefit when purchasing from a dealership. I have never been advised to register a car before. I was frank with my auto shop and asked them if they were ever told I had a warranty from Mazda. They said no and told me what they were told as I stated previously. Why would I take my car to a Mazda dealership? Essentially I was told by the dealership that they couldn't help me and that the parts department wouldn't have mentioned a warranty. Why?! That seems to be a great disservice to any Mazda customer. Any auto shop that purchases parts from Mazda can't let their customer know that those parts may be covered under warranty? I contacted Mazda customer experience again and they said I could try to file for reimbursement and will be contacted by a case manager. I provided all the information they requested and then they told me it was denied as the cutoff date to get reimbursed on work done at a 3rd party auto shop was May 15th of this year. So I missed filing for this by 2-3 weeks? I didn't have a car for almost a month. We didn't get to go on vacation as we needed the car to go and I couldn't get refunded by the VRBO we were going to stay at because it was a last minute cancellation. I could only work a couple days that week because I am a dental hygienist and we couldn't fill up my schedule enough since it was last minute. I am essentially out over $9,500 and have had a terrible experience despite all my effort. I will be filing a claim with the BBB auto line. Mazda has great cars but BEWARE. They don't care about you as a customer. I recently asked to see if they would at least cover parts as they would have had to use them to fix my car at a dealership anyways. I am not surprised I haven't received a reply. Good luck! 1 Reviews Fred sansoucie Ellisville, MO Reviewed : 06/13/2025 Comment : If you typically hate the car buying process like I always have, try Nate at Bommarito West. This guy is honest, straightforward, and made the process a great experience. 1 Reviews Bradley ward Ellisville, MO Reviewed : 05/05/2025 Comment : My wife and I recently bought a CX-50 from here and it was the easiest sales experience I've ever had. Andrew was very knowledgeable about the cars and was quick to show us both a CX-30 and a CX-50 so she could see the size difference between the two and, since we're currently expecting, he provided some personal anecdotes that helped us make an informed decision. When it came time for the paperwork, they didn't try to tack on any mandatory accessories and were even nice enough to redo the deal when my wife decided she'd rather have the white instead of the grey. I personally avoid auto dealers as much as possible, but if it finally makes sense for me to get a new Miata, this will be where I buy. 1 Reviews Matthias jones Ellisville, MO Huge thank you too all the techs as well, during my service visits they always are proactive and fix the little things that could become bigger things for me, without being asked!
