Comment : Recommend using the service department here for your auto services needed. I've been using them for years now and haven't had to go back after a repair. Ben has been my service advisor for years and is sure to address all my concerns every time.

Comment : Worst experience ever at a dealership. Car was purchased two months ago and has already had a dead battery and a passenger air bag defect despite a 172 point inspection supposedly being completed to sell certified preowned. The salesman refused to help, the financial adviser lied about warranty coverage which wasn’t honored, and the sales manager never returned multiple messages.

Ben in the service department was condescending and dismissive and in the end was wrong but never acknowledged nor apologized. How does a dealership not know of a GM factory air bag recall and argue with the customer to pay for it? Plus charge a $250 diagnostic fee just to pull in? Customer service training is desperately needed.

To keep a customer’s car for three days with zero follow ups without the customer initiating and to have no care for the inconvenience caused is unacceptable. No shuttle service is offered yet door to door service for loaners is provided to Audi customers. Completely unacceptable and they’ve lost a repeat customer.

Comment : Dont Shop Bommarito Ellisville!!I bought a vehicle from Bommarito Buick in Ellisville in April of 2025 and my sales person was Colleen. I expld to them that my credit was not good but they assured me that they wouldnt put me in a vehicle out of my price range. Not only did they do that they ran my credit over 10 times. Not once did colleen state lets find you a less expensive car. I have spoken with Colleen numerous times about getting me into a less expensive car and she keeps telling me to be patient and she would make sure she would do that for me. Nope never happened. I would never do business with them again. They are all about the buck! Shame on you Bommarito and shame on you Colleen. Funny how Ive been calling Colleen for he past 5 months wanting to get this resolved and I hear nothing until I write a review. If Bommarito wanted to resolve the issue they would have reached out to me. Never buy from Bommarito again. Its all about the buck with them not customer satisfaction.

Comment : I have lived in the West County area my entire life and am very familiar with the Bommarito family. My husband and I heard a noise while turning at low speeds in our 2021 Suburban. When I dropped it off, I told them it sounded like it was coming from the front and only while turning, possibly CV related. We didn't hear anything for 3 days, when someone named Ben called and told us it could possibly be the rear end and GM has a bulletin requiring them to change the fluid 3 times and drive it a specific way. If that doesn't fix it, they'd replace the rear end but if it did fix it, it would cost roughly $500 in parts and labor. My husband and I couldn't believe it would be the rear end because the noise we heard was clearly coming from the front, but at this point we were already $300 in for labor. We never heard back from Ben, but 4 days later my husband called and was told that Ben was not in, but was put in contact with Joe. Joe told him the vehicle was still being worked on and that when they get the ticket written up, they'd call. Less than 10 minutes later, Joe called me and left a message saying it was ready to come pick up. When I got to the dealership, Joe was less than friendly and even less helpful. I asked him what was wrong with the vehicle and what work was performed, to which he responded, "I already told your husband." I asked if he could tell me as well, he said, "we changed the fluid in the rear end, just like we told you we would." After I paid almost $500, it is still making the same sound it was making when I dropped it off. I feel like this was handled very poorly and we are very disappointed with what I thought was a reputable dealership.

Comment : Service Department
My experience with Bommarito GMC in Ellisville, MO, for my 2025 GMC AT4X has been consistently frustrating. In December 2025, I reported a vibration and thumping noise during an oil change visit on December 27. Bommarito claimed no drivetrain issues, but the problem persisted. I took the truck to Laura GMC, where a test drive confirmed the issue, and they identified a factory-defective axle shaft, repairing it by January 17, 2025, after some delays. Laura’s service manager, Ken, communicated effectively throughout.
In June 2025, I returned to Bommarito for an oil change, non-working 120v outlets, and a fast-dropping tailgate. They ordered parts, but the tailgate issue was dismissed as normal due to the kicker system, leaving it unresolved. On August 26, 2025, I scheduled a 3:30 PM oil change and again raised the tailgate concern. At 3 PM on August 27, Joe informed me the truck hadn’t even been looked at, stating they might complete the oil change before closing but couldn’t address other issues. Scheduling an appointment 24 hours in advance for such poor service is unacceptable.
Bommarito’s lack of thoroughness, poor communication, and inability to honor appointments make it unreliable. I strongly recommend Laura GMC for better service and accountability.
