Comment : I?d give a 0 star if I could & wouldn?t trust them to replace a single windshield wiper blade!
I don?t leave bad reviews, but it?s bad enough that I?m coming back a month later to leave a review.
My vehicle was towed here as they were recommended by AAA when I lost drive abilities on the side of a highway. I needed new tires but I have never had any other issue.
I was told my car
1. Had a recall for Power Transfer Unit (ok that?s fine)
2. Had a blown coolant hose & ZERO coolant in the car
3. Need a new shifter bezel & harness
4. Had damaged motor mounts
5. Needs new struts since I have a 4WD & have 3 old tires and 1 newer tire
6. Need new tires
7. Possible transmission damage
(Basically everything but rebuild my whole degum vehicle)

I was quoted $1900+ for coolant, shifter bezel & tires & was told to get the recall fixed after this & bring it back to check for transmission damage.
I did not have $1900 & all of that info sounded off, so I had my vehicle towed back to my home.
3 different mechanics looked at my car & without knowing what the other said, confirmed my coolant hose is not brittle and the way it was broken looks like the pressure test blew both hoses. To further confirm it was not damaged, when it was slightly moved, roughly a gallon of coolant poured 20 ft down my driveway.
My motor does not move at all when the car is cranked, the struts are 100% fine & the shifter is fine!
The ONLY thing they were accurate about was the recall (public knowledge) & I need new tires.

I just picked my car up from the dealership from having the recall fixed and my car is 100% again. Zero issues.

When I questioned things, I was given a big ?uhh this is just what I was told? runaround and never could get straight answers.

Additionally: it was going to be $500 to replace a $60 part that takes less than 10 minutes to replace (shifter bezel) & $700 to replace a hose and coolant that they broke.

Long winded but 100% crooks. Price gouged, untruthful to every degree & just because I?m a woman doesn?t mean I?m an idiot. I?m embarrassed for them.

AAA will be receiving the same review.

Comment : I was traveling from Mississippi to Loxely, AL when my check engine light came on. I stopped at an AutoZone to have them check it out and they told me I needed a new turbocharger. I called the closest autoshop to see if they could work me in. They unfortunately didnt do the service work I needed done, but recommended Bodiford. I think it means something when a mechanic reccomends another place, and boy were they right.
I was originally quoted a finished time of Monday (brought the car in after closing on thursday). I will say it took 2 weeks for them to fix the car, but that's my only gripe. I could tell they were packed and it seems like they gave my car priority since I was from out of town. They did the proper diagnosing. Come to find out, I didnt need a whole new charger, and just the acentuator. They told me it was making oil leak into parts that shouldn't have oil. They told me i also needed a new intake manifold and engine mount, so I got that fixed as well. I did stay calling almost everyday to get check ups and they were able to finish my car at the time of closing on Friday two weeks later instead of having to wait until Monday, which I really appreciated.
Once I received my car, I was really appreciative of the work they did. They wanted to make sure everything was done correctly the first time (which is far and few in-between nowadays). They gave me an oil change, rotated my tires, filled my fluids, ect as well.
It's been about a month since the work was done and my car has been running so smooth. I have had no issues or check engine lights since.
If I had someone who needed work done in the Mobile area and they wanted it done correctly and with fair pricing, I would reccomend Bodiford. ?

Comment : I am very pleased with the service I received from Bodiford Automotive. They dealt with my warranty company and put a new transmission in my enclave. They are honest and do good work. They are always very friendly and helpful when I call. I would definitely recommend them.

Comment : I was on a recent trip to attend a funeral in Mississippi from Orlando Fl. and east of Mobile my truck started shaking and losing power. I made it to a Ford dealership and since I did not have an appointment, I was told to go to Bodiford's. I am old school where my handshake means more than a contract and the service I received was second to none, they were aware that I was in a predicament and were able to get my truck in. Matt (an Owner) drove me to 3 different car rental places and made sure that I was taken care of before they left me. My truck was promptly fixed and when I got back a few days later, my truck was ready. The lady at the counter even asked how the funeral was, that to me shows that you are not a number here, you are someone and they care about the person getting behind the wheel of a vehicle that they just fixed. I felt the price was very fair. I'd give more stars, but they only have 5.

Comment : My car was in the shop for a replacement turbo, and even tho my car was in the shop longer then I hoped they took care of the problem and MORE. My car is driving better then when I bought it. On top of it they kept me updated well on everything and they were so friendly. Thank you guys so much for helping me with my car.
