Comment : The staff at Bob Sight Ford are genuinely friendly, and I want to give credit where it?s due ? but the service experience left a lot to be desired.

I brought my car in for a part failure that Ford has already issued an advanced notice on, acknowledging it?s a known problem. A job that should have taken about 45 minutes turned into a 3-hour ordeal. To make matters worse, at the 1 hour 20 minute mark, a service advisor came to quote me a price ? before they had done any actual troubleshooting. That was frustrating.

When I finally got my car back, the door panel hadn?t been reinstalled correctly and I had to have them fix it before I could leave.

The kicker? The repair came down to a fuse and a trim piece. I had already tried to replaced the trim piece myself for about $40, but I didn?t know about a secondary fuse panel buried under the steering column? otherwise I would have fixed the whole thing myself for $40 total. Instead, It cost me $711.

Again, the people are pleasant. But the process, the wait time, and the value just weren?t there.
