Comment : Worst car experience I've ever had. John, who said he was the owner, mocked us openly for not being able to afford 900 for used door handles. We were told to come get our car immediately, they didn't want our business anyway, and then hung up on. Both my husband and I had to leave work. When we got there, John again mocked us, laughing, that we were upset with his attitude. A business so heavily involved in the Milwaukie community shouldn't be treating it's community members like garbage. Find a different place to get your car worked on!!

Comment : Very disappointed! After being a loyal customer of 20 years, they put the wrong transmission fluid in my honda causing the transmission to fail. They refuse to take any responsibility for the $6000 damage! Done with Bernard's!

Comment : My experience was horrible, I needed to have a radiator put in, they put in the wrong radiator, how does that happen? So when I drove the car over 5 miles my hose blew, I was spraying antifreeze everywhere because the unprofessional jerks there didn't know how to do their jobs right, they didn't flush my line like they said. My car is now ruined do to their insubordination. Do not, I repeat DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICHLE TO THESE LOSERS, THEY RIP EVERYONE OFF AND YOUR CAR WILL SUFFER LEAVING YOU STRANDED.

Comment : They tried to charge me $4100 to fix something that wasn't broken. When I had to tell them the problem, they still charged me a diagnosis fee. When I contacted the owner to complain, they UNFIXED my car even though I had already partially paid on it. Got a quote at another shop for less than half what they charged. Manager John is demeaning, rude and a scam artist!

Comment : SCAM ALERT!!! I just took my car to Bernard's garage for a electrical problem which would have been the alternator or battery. Then got a call back from the manager saying it was my distributor and I also needed to replace a solenoid that a seal was leaking. He quoted me twice as much as the distributor was worth and when I said that seems like a lot then he said on the phone oh I just found a cheaper one. So I said okay because I needed my car fixed that day. Then he asked me if I wanted to replace my solenoid for $365.00 which wasn't broke I declined. My car was not fixed $488.35 later. I took my car back thinking the parts are faulty and it was actually my alternator. I told them it was their mistake they should pay for it. They gave me no deal and no discounts even though it was their mistake. I had to pay another $321.27 to get a new alternator. Spend your money somewhere else
