Surprisingly, I was invited to surrender the car for repair. Truth be told, I wouldn't trust this company anywhere around my vehicle, let alone surrender the keys and leave it with them unattended, and now you know a legitimate basis why you should NOT either.

Regarding the $500 theft, I was invited to explain why when called by John about 15 minutes after I counted out in front of him my $4,300 in cash & he then no less carefully and deliberately did the same in front of me, that I then failed to return to Bellmawr Collision right away. Return to do what?

Return and, either say, or do what? Was that suppose to be some sort of green light for me, upon return, to physically frisk John, and/or tear the office apart roof-to-and inclusive of the floor to find the $500 he just stole from me?

Why didn't I immediately call police?

To hear them assert, "this is a case of he said-he said?" A call to police confirmed that they would not, in fact, have physically frisked John, nor torn the office of Bellmawr Collision apart in search of the $500 John stole from me either.

Bellmawr Collision management insists that my claim of John's theft would have been somehow more plausible & actionable had I immediately returned to their Runnemede office, enabling John (the only employee present) to replay what they now claim to be an alleged video recording. Again, the only person present was John, otherwise calm appearing, quiet & well-spoken. Like an ax murderer who one day snaps & slaughters his entire family. Neighbors say "... he was a quiet man"

Management insists that someone who was NOT present in their office would then gladly have replayed the alleged video recording. Precisely who was going to replay & not destroy the unlikely video recording?

John presented me with a handwritten receipt on Bellmawr Collision stationary accurately memorializing my cash payment, results of his careful recount not once, but twice of my $4,300, on an 8 1/2"x11" receipt, concluding with his dated signature. Management asserts John's twice written figure of $4,300 to be ... well ... an error based upon the universal truth, "because everyone makes mistakes."

CONSUMER WARNING: Do NOT let my costly mistake of trusting John and the owner of Bellmawr Collision become YOUR COSTLY MISTAKE. Learn from my error. AVOID Bellmawr Collision! For those of you acting upon my cautionary recommendation, you are welcome!

Nobody can now claim they had NO idea Bellmawr Collision employees, with the unqualified and total support of its ethically challenged business owner, as a matter of policy, pattern and practice, will steal your cash payments and return to you something worse than shoddy workmanship on your motor vehicle.

Failure to video record ALL cash money transactions, particularly those involving significant sums of money, renders your transaction nothing more than a "he said-he said," or "he said-she said" event. Like it never even happened.

The instant transaction described above establishes (1) John is a thief and (2) Owner of Bellmawr Collision is NO LESS unethical and dishonorable!'>

Comment : John in the office of Bellmawr Collision stole $500 cash from a total of $4,300 I counted out in front of him for exterior repairs on my car. The business owner refuses to act.

What I got: The new headlight installed wasn't aligned. It pointed straight down at the ground. A piece of metal with a ring at the bottom was left resting in the headlight lens cover. The rear right window regulator no longer works. An engine hose was left hanging low from the engine. The glove compartment containing my owner's manual no longer opens. To protect my vinyl roof, I instructed John to drape & maintain a painter's tarp I provided on the roof, particularly where it meets the windshield. However, this business did NOT & the vinyl roof could be heard pealing away from the seam it shares with the windshield with every surface imperfection traveled over and every turn of the steering wheel. The only thing now holding the vinyl roof down, now ripped post-to-post, is duct tape.
