Comment : The service was excellent! I brought my bouncy RAV4 in for new front struts and axles. While they were looking it the car they brought some other items to my attention and asked if I wanted them to fix them too. They had everything done in the original time allotted. And now I will drive a safe comfortable car for years to come. It has about 180k and I may get another 150k. I’ll meet to replace the rubber around the windows. Does anyone know someone that does that well?

I can’t say enough about B & D Auto on Melrose in Vista – they are absolutely amazing! I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and have trusted them with over a dozen different cars. As a business owner with 9 vehicles (foreign and domestic, old and new – everything from a 2020 Diesel Ram 2500 and a Ford E450 box truck, to Lexus, Toyota, Honda, and Kia sedans and SUVs), I need a shop I can rely on 100%.

Even though I live 40 miles away, I gladly make the drive because no one else compares. The team at B & D is professional, fast, honest, fair, and friendly. They’ve handled everything for me, from routine maintenance to big repairs, and the quality of their work is always outstanding.

It’s rare to find a shop that consistently delivers great service, fair pricing, and true integrity – but B & D Auto does it every time. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic.

Comment : This is my first ever experience with a mechanic where transparent, integrity driven, suggestions are given! Their entire team is fantastic and always willing to talk through the best, and most frugal, option to get your vehicle in prime shape. We will continue to take our cars here (a 2000 beat up Tacoma and 2022 RAV-4 hybrid)!

Comment : Went the other day to get my gf car fixed, they were nice but were packed. I knew what's wrong with the car and told them and they gave me a quote of the amount to fix it.
I had work the next day so I told her to take her car and tell them exactly what I said and what they told me.. that's when she calls me saying they would charge her just too look at it, when I went to another place that did that for free. She mentioned what was wrong the same way I did and they wanted to add more on top of just looking at the car. They treated her differently than me, and clearly were trying to get her to pay more just based on her being a female and not speaking confidently on what she told them what the issue was.
