Comment : I would not recommend. I took car in to have motor checked out for a noise. Heip called me back and said it was the transmission. I paid $2000 to have transmission work done, I get the car back and nothing has changed. It was still making the same noise. He argued with me and told me the noise was normal and it would go away after I drove it. I've had the car for three years and it never made the noise before. I left him the keys and asked him to please look at it again. He called back and said sorry he feels bad and tells me it has something to do with timing chain. He said he was waiting for the part and would call me. a couple weeks go by, I called him and now he's telling me I need a new motor. He misdiagnosed my car twice and I got no refund on the $2000. I paid to have my car fixed and it still is not fixed. I had to have the car towed from his shop to another. I asked him about the $2000 and he argued telling me the transmission was the problem. If it was the problem the car would have been fixed. Now I'm out $2000 and still cant drive my car. Not good business!

Comment : Had my car repaired and was given a Guestimat of $1000. Didn't need all the work and was charged less than $500. Received great work and only paid for was was necessary and no more.

Comment : Hep is a great mechanic, he really know his stuff and works to get your car in and out. If you have a Chrysler or GMC he knows those like the back of his hand. But I'll trust him with any car because it's fast friendly and does a great job.

Comment : AVI Auto is run by a sharp and experienced technician/owner. He worked for years on the Portland Fire Department Vehicles. He's now sought after by several PFD staff to maintain their personal vehicles. To me, this says it all.
He talks quick and gets to the point. When the work is done, it's done right and by the book.
His shop is NOT the cheapest place in town. It is, however, fairly priced for knowledgeable service done right.

Comment : This shop was extremely rude the short Asian guy was unprofessional when I went in for oil change told me he too busy come back another day I took my business somewhere else.
