Comment : As a college student, I took my car here based on a friend s recommendation, but it was a terrible experience. They had my car for nearly the entire semester due to recurring issues. I paid for repairs, yet they kept insisting my car was fine. When I finally took it to my trusted mechanic back home, he found that none of the work had actually been done. Comment : I waited 1.5 hours for an inspection even though I was the 2nd person in the shop that morning. Several people who came in after me left before I did. They also tried to sell me a break+rotor change even though there is plenty of life left in my breaks. They won t hesitate to take advantage of you. Comment : I consulted the body shop for some scratches on the car and my concern is potential rust forming under the scratches. I spoke to Keith who was very honest and helpful - when i told him i am not worried about the cosmetics and mainly just the corrosion, he taught me that as the bumper cover is all plastic (i thought it was metal, much to my lack of knowledge), no rust would form. I am really impressed by the frankness and practicality. another body shop near me recommended a bumper cover replacement and quoted me almost 2000 for a problem that i did not really have (maybe bumper being plastic and not rusting was so common knowledge they misunderstood my concern lol) - i was almost ready to take the risk to learn to do the painting myself.. Comment : Do not come to this place they will try to take advantage of your situation and charge you a lot of money. There s a reason they can get you right in , and get your car looked at right away. You will spend $300 just for them looking at your car alone with no forewarning. I gave them the okay to run a diagnostic test. They took it upon themselves to rip apart my car without getting prior authorization from me. I had spoken with the guy running the front desk and we specifically agreed on no major work(which to me includes ripping my car apart). They ended up charging me for 2 hours worth of work just to run a diagnostic test. Them putting my car up on a lift was never authorized by me, and my mom specifically told them to stop what they were doing, yet they continued to keep my car up on the lift. Their estimate for a fuel pump was over $2500.. needless to say I had my car towed somewhere else, and I also filed a complaint with the better buisness bureau.-Had it towed to a different shop and one of the first things they noticed was 2 quarts of water in the tank. You re telling me I paid this shop $300 for 2 hrs to figure out what was wrong with my car and they couldn t find water in my gas tank while they had it torn apart which was already unauthorized to begin with?? This is pure negligence on their end and quite frankly dangerous if I tried to drive my car off of their lot.Do not come to this place they will try to take advantage of your situation and charge you a lot of money. Comment : Had an insurance claim with geicoThe place is unprofessional in the sense that I have to constantly reach out for updates on parts etc. communication is horrible. Mike however is very courteous, but to what degree can I just over look the slow tedious and unresponsiveness over courtesy. Was supposed to get calls from the place in regards to 1. Parts updates / shipping 2. When I???ll bring the car in again for some touch up. But the place never reached out. Don???t think this is an isolated instance. I understand it???s a body shop so they???re just but at the same time I hope they can be a bit more responsive and ACTUALLY reach out to customers in regards to updates and not just sweet mouth me ???hey well give you a call as soon as we have an update??? i bought that and have been expecting a call for the last 2 weeks.
