However I got the car back in April and still haven’t received my tags or licenses plates. I’ve called them over the course of the last week, due to getting pulled over without them and the First Lady couldn’t help me I called the next day she said they were mailed to my old address in July. Had my sister check they weren’t there. The post office can’t track them without a tracking number and the manager couldn’t give me on transferred me to someone who couldn’t help. Got transferred again and they never answered. Asked if I could bring it in with no appointment. The service writer said yes.I arrived around 8am and explained the situation. They got their Corvette tech on it right away. About an hour later the tech came out and we discussed the problem for about 10 minutes. About 40 miles from Amarillo the A/C started to slowly die off.Got into Amarillo and call the next morning to Autonation Chevrolet. Asked if I could bring it in with no appointment. I love my Tahoe! I'm not in love with AutoNation though. First off, the salesman wasn't very knowledgeable. I think he was new so that was fine. Ryan Stoval, doing the financing papers is the problem. He told us they threw in Gap insurance and 6 oil charges. OK cool! We'll when I looked over the paperwork later, there way a charge for the Gap for $500 and something. OK that's fine. We really wanted that. There was also a charge for $2000 for a maintenance plan. $2000 for 6 oil changes? No thank you. I can do it myself! I call him and he says it can be canceled when I hear from autonation finance about my car payment. I call back a few weeks later and all the sudden there's a # I can call to cancel it! I call and cancel and they say it can take 6 to 8 weeks. So I wait over 8 weeks and then call back. They were going to credit me $1700 but were still working on it. I told them I was charged $2000 and she talked with a manager and was supposed to have it right. I haven't heard anything so I call back today. They still don't have it right! Watch what they charge you! I will never buy a car from them again! Great job Ryan! Our service advisor Rocio was wonderful. She kept me thoroughly updated and went above & beyond to make sure we were happy. This was such a pleasant surprise considering our last visit to the west branch was a nightmare. The technician himself provided a very detailed video of what was being done which never happened before. I am just thoroughly pleased with the whole east branch Autonation staff, especially Rocio.
