Comment : **Caution**Today, I went to AutoHaus for a simple state inspection and to have a reverse light bulb replaced on my car. I even brought my own bulbs this should have been a quick, easy job. Instead, I was stuck there for an outrageous hour and 17 minutes for something that should have taken 20 minutes max. And that s being generous.I ve changed these bulbs myself before. It s a 5 7 minute job with two bolts to remove. The inspection itself? 10 15 minutes, tops. Then came the real slap in the face: $76!!$12 for the inspection.$64 for labor.- TO INSTALL BULBS I PROVIDED.At no point did anyone bother to tell me how long this would take, or what it would cost. And when I rightfully called them out on it, the employee had the nerve to be dismissive and condescending. Instead of addressing my concerns, he sarcastically asked, Well, why didn t you do it yourself? To which I replied, Because I can t do an inspection myself, and I thought it would be easier to do them at the same time. For comparison, I called another local shop after the fact. They quoted me $10 $15 for the same job, plus the $12 inspection. And guess what? They would have had it done in a fraction of the time.Let me be crystal clear: AutoHaus ripped me off! They wasted my time, overcharged me, and treated me like my concerns didn t matter. If you value your money and your patience, take your business elsewhere.**Edit**Your response only reinforces my original review. Instead of addressing a legitimate customer complaint with professionalism, you chose to be defensive, dismissive, and outright hostile. This is not how a business should handle customer feedback.Let s set the record straight:Nowhere in our conversation was I ever told not to return. In fact, I was the one who stated that I would never come back due to the poor service, excessive charges, and dismissive attitude I experienced. If replacing a single reverse light bulb on a 2007 Nissan Versa truly required 30 minutes of labor, then either your technicians are inefficient, or you intentionally overcomplicated the process to justify overcharging me. I have changed these bulbs myself before, and I know it does not require extensive disassembly.A state inspection taking 20-30 minutes? Every other shop I ve used completes it in 10-15 minutes. If it truly takes your shop that long, perhaps efficiency is an issue. You mention that I "raised my voice and began cussing at employees." That is an exaggeration at best and an outright misrepresentation at worst. Was I frustrated? Absolutely. I had just been overcharged for a service that should have been straightforward. But instead of de-escalating the situation or offering any kind of solution, your employee chose to be rude and dismissive, which only made the situation worse. What s even more telling is that I am far from the only person who has had a bad experience at your shop. A quick look at your reviews shows multiple other customers who have also left 1-star ratings for similar issues overcharging, long wait times, and rude customer service. Instead of learning from these complaints and improving, you attack the people leaving them. That alone says everything about how you choose to run your business.Your response tells me everything I need to know about how you treat dissatisfied customers. Instead of handling the situation with professionalism, you chose to mock me and suggest that I just "should have done it myself." That is not an appropriate or acceptable way to handle customer concerns.A simple acknowledgment of the issue and a reasonable discussion would have gone a long way. Instead, you doubled down with an unprofessional and defensive reply. Your attitude toward customer service is exactly why I would never recommend AutoHaus to anyone.**Caution**Today, I went to AutoHaus for a simple state inspection and to have a reverse light bulb replaced on my car. Comment : Do yourself a favor and DO NOT trust these crooks. I???ve brought my car to them for regular maintenance twice, and I always get it back with more problems than it went in with.
