Why advertise Better Business Bureau credentials when you either don't know how to provide good customer service or don't care if the services are of good quality and at reasonable cost? I have been more then reasonable in terms of my expectations and have spent thousands of dollars at Autocare Plus. Yet I am currently dealing with a vehicle that won't start consistently despite service and replacement of the ignition switch just days ago, has recurrent exhaust and muffler issues despite repeated service visits and repeated replacement parts, has no working heat and air conditioning despite service and supposed repairs, has chronic, recurrent brake problems despite repeated servicing and replacement parts...and so on.I was at your business on Monday of this past week to pick up my vehicle after having it towed by AAA and serviced when I stopped being able to start it weeks earlier. It should be noted that the vehicle is 15 years old and has only 67,000 miles on it. Being semi retired I use it for local travel only, I drive it minimal miles per year. While it's been in need of service, I've had to rely on my children for transportation. It has been a major inconvenience.My daughter drove me to pick it up on Monday.I was unable to start it in your parking lot. My daughter tried as well, it wouldn't consistently start and took repeated attempts. My daughter and I notified your 'Manager'...who came out to the vehicle with the technician who completed the repairs. All 4 of us tried starting it and it wouldn't consistently start. No solitions were offered by your staff.Saying i was frustrated is an understatement. I ended up driving it home since my daughter had to return to work. It took 8 to 10 turns of the key to get it running.Since then I have only been able to drive it intermittently. It takes up t0 close to an hour and repeated attempts to start it. In other words, ITS NOT FIXED.Each and every time I've left your business after servicing I've been been dissatisfied with some aspect of the services. Although reasonably pleasant, Shaelyn seems to either not know the basic principles of quality Customer Service or to not care. I don't like feeling distrustful, but at this point I do. I've been a customer with your business for years. I've tried to trust that I'm being dealt with fairly...after all, things happen...right? But at every service visit???Between my daughter and I reaching out to the business via phone, email, and face to face communication to explain any ongoing issues with the vehicle, not 1 person really seemed to be informed. On the previous Friday that the vehicle was towed to the business mid day. Throughout the afternoon until 530 p.m. I attempted to reach someone in the office and repeatedly got an Out of Office voicemail recording indicating the business was closed. Mike finally answered and I told him about the outgoing message and he indicated he was unaware. On Monday afternoon when I arrived at the business I asked Shaelyn if Mike had informed her about the phone message problems I'd encountered on the previous business day. She claimed she was not. Huh? Customer Service 101...I should not have to call the business dozens of times to reach someone.I realize that I drive an older model, basic vehicle. I've driven high end vehicles for years but I no longer have that luxury. I need an affordable and reliable vehicle, given this stage of my life. Regardless of what I drive, the quality of the services I've paid for at Autocare Plus should be consistent and fairly priced.The unesolved issues with my vehicle need to be reconciled immediately and I need to be provided with a loaner vehicle during the servicing. Word of mouth is your most compelling marketing tool in business.
