I had the same problem a few weeks ago went to you guys same scenario, tect told me well take care of it. 10 minute's later all fixed even for the busy shop they are and no plug needed, but don't want to pull the nail or screw out when im not near home to lose my air in the tire. The pricing was upfront and honest and I couldn't be any happier with the work after having a terrible experience at the dealership. Turns out after Atlantic Tire looked at it only a tire rotation and new battery was needed, saved us like $1800 and they fixed an ongoing issue for free that Firestone couldn’t diagnose and determined was a “normal” noise. Before arriving, I spoke with the owner/manager, who was extremely communicative and helped me compare options to fit both my SUV and my budget. Even though they didn’t have my specific tires in stock, he went above and beyond by sending an employee out to purchase the right set for me.Once my vehicle arrived, they provided same-day service, installing four brand-new tires and completing a wheel alignment. Their pricing was very reasonable, and I left with peace of mind knowing the alignment comes with a one-year warranty.The entire experience restored my trust after a really rough start to the day. The owner even joked with me about how I should just go home and start over. I appreciate the friendliness. Well I'm sorry Greg, my fianc? IS an experienced mechanic and has been working on cars longer than you and probably most of the mechanics that work for you have been alive. Instead of insulting his knowledge and calling him a liar, maybe you could have been gracious that he was sharing how to handle a future similar situation to help you out. Maybe your mechanics are the ones who “think” they are mechanics but only really know how to change tires instead. We thought you were our trusted business owner and friend. But nothing could be further from the truth.The worst part was that Greg went on to tell us:1) "I can’t handle things like this "You are a business owner and work in auto repairs and you can’t handle simple customer issues like this? Maybe you shouldn’t be in this business or perhaps get some mental health counseling, and I mean that sincerely as a coach, because at your age and stature, you should be able to "handle it".2) "You should go elsewhere from now on to get your car fixed." So....rather than take responsibility for what happened with your mechanics, you tell US to never come back? Because we have knowledge of cars? I did not expect this from you or Atlantic Tire.Greg - your negative and demeaning attitude towards us wasn't just poor customer service — it was dishonest and disrespectful. About a year ago, they replaced the A/C climate control blend door actuator. When it failed this summer (just after the warranty expired), Greg said he’d replace it at no charge. We were ecstatic by his kind offer and took the car right in to be fixed.Instead, we got a $200 bill because their mechanic didn’t realize the new part needed programming. My fianc? (a mechanic with 45+ years of experience) could have told them in minutes, but they spent 2+ hours “diagnosing” what should’ve been common knowledge. Worse, no one called to tell us there would be a charge before doing the work. Isn't a call to the customer a standard courtesy before any work is done?
