Comment : I highly recommend coming to this shop for repairs! The mechanics are awesome guys especially Arty. 10x cheaper than what the dealership would have charged me for. Fair with their prices, they work with you and are very understanding, professional and polite. They replaced my oil cooler lines and cv axles/boots. Their work is flawless and my truck feels 100x better when driving it. Will definitely be coming back when I need vehicle repairs done and inspection. Thank you!! :)

Comment : This was the first visit to Christian Brothers Automotive Westinghouse Road. I made an appointment and requested oil change, state inspection, air and cabin air filters. Dropped the car off and meet with Lance the Service manager. Gave me an estimate and told me they would contact be when vehicle was ready as well as send me updates which it was being service. They sent me texts letting me know the vehicle was in the shop, it passed inspection, oil was changed using synthetic oil, waiting for cabin air filter. I had received a text with a photo letting me know that the engine air filter looked brand new. I usually keep track of things like that but fail to note that I had recently replaced the air filter, my error. When I picked up the vehicle, the air filter charge had been removed. The service was outstanding. If you are looking for a professional, honest, competent, friendly auto service shop, choose CBA, you will be pleasantly surprised. My biggest regret is that it took me so long to find them.

Comment : Went to get a used car diagnosis for 69.99 on a newly purchased car what was told. I was called mid service and they told me it would be more to diagnose the problem. Recived another call to tell me they still dont know the problem and would need to do more to diagnose. And gave me a bill of 2k to fix whatever need to be fixed. I didnt proceed with the fix and decided to pickup car in to find out they gave me vehicle state inspection which is 69.99 not what i asked for the told me its the same Inspection just 20 more for used vehicle Inspection. So they charge you more for used vehicle Inspection over state Inspection. It was a hassel for no reason. Now im walking out the door paying 300 for them to tell me one thing a tire rod is bad. Save yourself the hassel and choose a different shop and dont trust this guy!!

Comment : Where do I begin..... * Don't even bother asking for a quote because the price he give upon calling to get work approval is never the price you pay upon pick-up.... Make sure you have extra money or he'll attempt to get you to apply for a 90 day loan.... Bonus* if you arrive at the perfect time... You get to enjoy the sound of Grown Man Temper Tantrum and beat up things in his office..... Yeah, that's not weird AF , completely normal. Receptionist older lady w dark hair ...super rude to females ...if u give all your info. Backwards u have a better chance of her taking it down accuaritly .... possibly it's due to the distraction...talk about get a room..yuk. If the Head mechanic is at her desk ....it's so uncomfortable ur embarrassed bc they're clearly sleeping together...real professional If you sit there long enough the repeats a scripted response about ....how it's a good thing you had a fluid service and how carbon build they found and u will see a change in the gas usage...same story 3x in 1 hr to 2 different customers.... WOW Really Very interesting Team of people

Comment : Scandalous!
I took my car here because my A/c wasn't as cold as it should be, and that, when stationary the A/c wouldn't stay cool. Arty's Told me I needed $700+ parts and labor after a dye test revealed a need to fix a A/c schrader valve... which AFTER that dye test the A/c DIDN'T WORK AT ALL! Now Its Blowing Straight Outside Air Temperature!
Upset that my car is in worst condition then it was!
Now I'm In An Emergency!
However!
(Prior to, My car had recently been in a accident and had the condenser replaced, turned out the body shop did not recharge the system completely, after evacuating the system. Checked for leaks and found none, no Schrader valve nonsense!)
Car didn't need any repairs, just a system recharge. I guess the little bit of rechachange money wasn't enough for Arty!
I wouldn't recommend!

Update (8/18/2025) A/C still cool as the other side of the pillow. Thanks to me taking my car somewhere else that wasn't pressed for cash and wasn't looking to take advantage of hard working folks , AC recharge blowing cold no signs of stopping, and no need for any additional repairs. Thanks , but no thanks to Arty's.??

Comment : Absolutely wonderful place. I got my PA state inspection here in June, and just went back for an oil change and some fluid changes. My car runs way better than when I brought it in! Prices are reasonable, staff is super friendly. As a woman in a mechanic shop, I feel very comfortable there 😌 (which is not very common!) 10/10!!
