Comment : ? 1/5 — Very Disappointing Experience

I bought a 2025 GMC Denali EV and unfortunately have had a terrible experience with both the vehicle and the service.

My GMC Denali EV developed a major battery issue, and the first time it took approximately 45 days to replace the main battery. After finally getting the vehicle back, only about two months later I started experiencing battery issues again.

I tried multiple times to contact Andrew and my salesperson, Darril, but my calls were not answered. It also took about three weeks before I was provided with a loaner vehicle.

Meanwhile, I am still making monthly payments on a vehicle that I have not been able to reliably use. What has been most frustrating is the lack of communication and follow-up. When a customer spends this much money on a new vehicle, especially a Denali EV, they should expect better support when a major problem happens.

Based on my personal experience, I would be extremely cautious before purchasing a GMC Denali EV, and I am very disappointed with the service and communication I received from Andy Mohr Buick GMC.

I hope the dealership and GMC take this situation seriously and provide a permanent solution.

Comment : Charged me a $199.95 line item for labor to do nothing towards solving the issue with my car (air bag light, a safety issue!), when I also had more than $600 in additional services performed. Light persisted after I got the car home. The line item description read “1.0 check out”. This was the only documentation offered as to what was done about my “SRS system concern” line item at $200. Took it back and asked for the light to be fixed or the $200 be refunded. Brian the service manager was blatantly rude and condescending to me when I asked for an explanation of the charge. Basically treated me like I was the idiot for not understanding and offered a half baked excuse as to why it wasn’t actually them screwing me. That’s the real injustice. Good thing I used a credit card that can claw back the charge. Check your invoices thoroughly and buyer beware!!

Fixed properly with kindness for $172 at Ed Martin Anderson a week later. Take your business there. They offered me very detailed documentation about the problem, how it was diagnosed, and how it was fixed to turn over to my credit card company.

As an aside, Andy Mohr also recommended rear rotor replacement. Firestone soon after said they were well within spec. Don’t let them sell you. Get a second opinion on major repairs, or better yet, avoid them altogether in the first place.

Now 6 visits later over the course of 3 months now, their service techs damaged my interior while "trying" to fix my seat belts...they have tried to install 3 new consoles now and all have been damaged as well. They keep reordering parts for me and making me take off work and go there, 6 total times now for their mistake!
Today they called me saying it was done again. Nobody inspected it again and a replacement panel was scratched again. They then told me the tech "reported" that they scratched it, but dispatch dropped the ball and nobody got notified.
I even told them, if I owned this car I would live with it, but I am leasing it and I am not going to be charged for damage that I did not do when I turn it in.
I offered if they would write up something saying that their service tech damaged it and that I would not be responsible for any extra fees when I turn it in, that I would be ok with that. They said they could not do that and keep putting me though torture and time by doing even more damage to my vehicle.
6 visits in a 3 month period of time and they have damaged new parts 3 times now!
Several times they even had me come there to try to fix it, but then said they actually didn't have all the parts...then it was, well this is actually going to take longer than we thought, so I had to go back and pick it back up and schedule another appointment.
Never once offered me anything, except this last time they gave me a rental because so many parts were damaged it took them 3 days to "try" to fix it again this week. I asked them if I could keep the rental today because they didn't fix it and they declined saying they would not do that.
Can't believe I am 3 months in and 6 times taken off work to deal with their absolute neglect.
The service manager, Will, told me 2 months ago that he was going to personally order the parts and he would call me when the parts were in. Six weeks went by with no calls, or return calls from my voicemails to him. I finally got ahold of the parts manager (Shaun) who was very kind and understanding and finally ordered the parts for me.
Today that same service manager (Will) behaved so unprofessionally and was so rude to me that I cussed at him. Even other workers apologized to me stating he was "extremely unprofessional" and "it made them uncomfortable."
Just one of the most unbelievable experiences I have ever had at any business.
Bob and Shaun, thank you both, I know this is not your fault.
To the service manager and general manager that have been extremely rude and unhelpful to me...I hope your employer takes these reviews to heart, because neither one of you belong doing what you are doing. You are not good representatives of the brand, or your dealership.
When I spoke to the general manager during the course of this, he was rude as I told him my story. I said this was a terrible experience...he cut me off and said no, you have not had a bad experience...if I didn't fix it, then you would have a bad experience. Still not fixed!
Yes this has been a terrible experience and you have no idea how to speak to your customers!
Please do yourself a favor and don't take these reviews lightly. Unfortunately, I never read one until now, because I never had a reason to look until this happened. I just had a manufacturer defect under warranty so I went back to the same place I bought it.
If you have a choice, I would not come here to this service center!'>

Comment : I wish I could give a 0 rating!
Just left there after an altercation with service manager (Will) as it was my 6th time in for the same thing and still unresolved.
Simply went because my 2 year old, 17,000 mile suv passenger seat belt didn't work...they also found another seat belt that didn't work when inspecting it, but then told me they weren't going to do anything about it...even though the one they found to be faulty (I didn't even know about) was my driver seat. Clearly scared to drive it out of there, I said that was unacceptable and seat belts needs fixed, I can't believe they would take on that liability. They finally agreed to fix them both.

Comment : - not finished when promised. They didn’t even check all concerns and kept holding another night to see if they could duplicate when I would ask about them again.
- couldn’t duplicate even though I sent video
- management defensive and blamed normal noise and referenced bulletin they never provided even though I asked.
- gm asked how they weren’t responsive in last email to me. It was already explained in the email chain. He also committed to getting me the bulletin and never provided.
- took my business elsewhere and what a pleasant experience it was dealing with a different Buick service center. They are not all the same.

Comment : Three months ago, I went in for a drop of oil. After 45 days and paying $6,000, they returned my truck with a diesel leak. I called them, they came to pick it up, and two weeks later they returned it to me. It's a work truck, only used to connect a trailer on occasion. When I connected the trailer, it started leaking fuel. I took it back to have them fix what they broke. I had to pay for the part they broke, and they paid for the labor. Today, August 11, 2024, they returned the truck, and 15 minutes later it started making a strange noise and leaked coolant from the radiator. I've had this problem for three months now; it keeps happening every time they return it. My truck has a different problem. The manager mocks customers, they have no ethics, and the diesel mechanic wrecks the vehicles. What should I do about these scammers? I paid $7,000, and they've destroyed my truck, which I brought in for a drop of oil. Who is an angry customer supposed to go to to get the work they paid for done? They probably don't care; they're so confident that service is of little importance to them. All they care about is getting more customers and wrecking vehicles, forcing them to keep paying. The reviews are terrible. We should file a class-action lawsuit for fraud.
