"perform diagnostic and suspected leaking fuel injectors due to scan data. upon removing fuel rail found main power wire on x130 connector female side wire broke off. also when inspecting coil and plus found ignition coil on cylinder 1 is broken see picture. recommend as first step to replace female side 8pin connector and replaced one ignition coil and continue diag. Recommend replacing all ignition coils as they usually fail together"

This is their actual find that BOTH the Dealership and Firestone Missed! Was in over another grand... yes... was it worth it... YES!!!

It was worth it because we must have reliable transportation. The car starts like it did when I first got it two years ago. Thing about buying new used cars is that you normally get hidden issues. I know the issues with this car, so repair is most prudent at this time.

IF YOU WANT TO AVOID all the bs that I just went through.... just take your car here, they will find the issue and let you know of all recommended services... just fill them in on what you have had done elsewhere and they will update their system and focus on the issue at hand.

I will be taking my other two cars to American Pride (love the name BTW) moving fwd as they actually FIXED THE ISSUE.

I am a results driven person, they exceeded my expectations and I am grateful for them! Give them a chance to earn you business and you will not be sorry.'>

Comment : Sad but True... I went to Casey Chevy because my car Malibu was not starting right. They told me that I had a cracked manifold. When they brought me my car, it was running, so I had no idea the start up issue was not fixed... because I believed them.

When I got to Firestone to do my front brakes, they told me I had an electrical draw (phantom draw) that they could not find. Firestone, to their credit, recommended American Pride in Yorktown. After having spent a lot of money (over $1600 in total) but not getting the initial issue resolved was upsetting.

When I got to American Pride, they were understanding and went through the list of recommended services. I let them know I had actually done most of the things that they asked, TBH I was confused as to why they said I needed a brake flush when I just had my brakes flushed. Once I brought that up, the gentleman said they did not see where it was done on Car Fax or some other database.

Therefore, just know that, when they say something needs to be done, it is NOT because they actually looked at it and found the fluid (in this case or other issue) to be dirty and in need of flushing. It simply means that it is not showing on their records that the work has been done.

They have a Chevy Mechanic that had worked at a dealership for over 20yrs. That made me feel good as I suspected something with injectors as Firestone was saying it may be a fuel pump... but it did not act like a fuel pump based on my experiences.

American PRIDE Came THROUGH! So VERY MUCH HAPPY to finally get to a shop that KNEW what they were doing! They ID'd the issueS, explained in detail... INCLUDING PICTURES!

Oh, I can't forget to mention that the complimentary rides home and back were a delightful help. And the reasonable wait time and diagnostic report review and explanation were very professional. Needless to say, I'll be returning for future maintenance for certain.'>

Comment : I no longer hear unfavorable noises coming from my engine, thanks to John at American Pride. The only issue is that I didn't know of this business sooner. Thank you for not only getting rid of the noise, but restoring confidence back to my truck. Yay!

Comment : disapointing, while the staff was very friendly and customer service was fine. I took in my 2000 Toyota Avalon that was leaking power steering fluid. After complete diagnostic I was given a list of repairs that needed to be done. Started off Rack and Pinion replaced as well as replaced axle shaft. Fixed in timely manner but when I picked the car up my CVS light was on and wouldnt go off. Called back and was told to bring car back in to check. Mind you my light was not on when i took the car in and there was no mention of an issue on the diagnostic report given. Seems a little strange this problem popped up after you all serviced my car. Of course they wanted to do another diagnostic to determine what the problem was that only began once my car was returned.but was never mentioned in the original diagnostic and light was never on before taking the car in Lost confidence in the honesty of this establishment. Can't afford to pay for one repair and go home with a new problem.

Comment : American Pride in Yorktown and their staff are exemplary and will be who we always trust with our vehicle needs and maintenance!

We were able to go online to schedule our vehicle for a state inspection, which is so helpful with work schedules. The night before our scheduled inspection, our vehicle got a flat tire. I called first thing in the morning, spoke with TC, and he was very understanding and immediately moved our appointment to the following week. The appointment was initially scheduled as a drop off, but my husband happened to have that day off and I forgot to change it from a drop off to having him wait for it. When he arrived with no other way to get home, TC and John moved some things around and John completed the inspection in a timely manner that he didn't have to wait long at all. John was very professional and honest. My husband received the full break down of the inspection and John went over everything with him.
